I absolutely agree. T-Mac has been outstanding. I was just making the point that he doesn't automatically get the MVP because of the win streak.
If Landry would have played...I don't think we would have struggled so much againt the Hawks. Will he play against the BC
The thing is, i didn't say it was a lock, I was just saying IN MY OPINION, I think he is considered the front runner not only for the streak, but the fact his team is in 2nd place and only 1 game out. He is the best player on his team right now, and while I'm not knocking Kobe, Bron, or CP the OG, I'm just expressing my perspective....

No one is giving the Rockets and the players anything. They have to win 18-20 games in a row to get noticed. Give me a break! Automatic and The Rockets do not go together.
I'm actually glad we won this way. It shows we can still win w/o our offense being perfect and playoff basketball is usually a grind-it-out type of style.
I was worried about this game because The Hawks have beaten Dallas, Phoenix, Utah, Cleveland, Denver and the Lakers at home this year. This was a trap game if there ever was one. However we prevailed again. On to #21 and beyond.

Good point. I was waiting for a game like this to see how the team would react. The defense stepped it up in the last 5 min and we were able to pull away. The Hawks have some size and aren't as bad as their record shows.
That's exactly what I mean. People (HATERS) keep downgrading "The Streak" saying that the Rox haven't beaten any good teams. ALL NBA TEAMS ARE GOOD TO SOME DEGREE! They have guys who are proffesionals. This isn't NCAA where you can be like Hawaii and play an easy schedule and get in the BCS. You play the same teams everybody else plays. The only difference is that if you are in the oppisite conference, you only play twice instead of four times....
This game started with Chuck freaking Hayes. He was the reason we won. Can't discount McGrady of course who pretty much said "Alright, we're gonna win now" with about 4 minutes left, but Hayes came in and just hustled his butt off. 20 and counting. Bring it Charlotte. Bring it L.A. Bring it Boston. Bring it whoever. Clutch city baby.
