Tech cracks the top 20 in college hoops

    I still thought they were "frauds" (much improved, but not Top 25 material) until they stomped OU. I think OU is a #1 or #2 seed, and Tech basically manhandled them, especially late when they could basically eat up clock AND score at will. I'm now a believer, even though Knight is still a punk! :)

    Watching Tech hoops this year has been so much more fun than in the past. All the national exposure has been exciting. I can't wait until March Madness!!

    I wonder what seed Tech will get in the tourney, because their RPI ranking must have been in the thousands before conference play. Good thing they beat OU. Knight must have had his "game face" on for that one.

    Wherever they get seeded, watch out for Pepperdine!!!

    Actually, Tech's RPI was in the 20s before conference play (not sure why or how). They are now in the teens. I'm still curious to see how they hold up. They have half their tough games out of the way (2 OU, 1 OSU, 1 Texas). 4 More to go (KU, MU, OSU, Texas). Tech won't be catching people by surprise anymore.
