I've been a long time reader, first time poster (as of today). What are the prerequisites for starting a thread? Do I have to be here a particular amount of time?
My only complaint is that when his jumpshot isn't falling (same goes for TMac), he should drive more to try to get himself going (either layups or foul shots) instead of continually pounding out jump shots when it isn't working. Hopefully this game is the anomoly and not anything else.

What did he do that deserved this? Nothing. My goodness, people ... some perspective. Rafer had a miserable shooting night. Every player has bad nights and Rafer has been very good for a long time now. The Rockets did win -- that's what is important. At the same time, let's not ignore his history and pretend there isn't a tiny bit of concern something like this could bite us in the butt in the playoffs. Is it OK to even mention this without being mercilessly blasted? I think the Rockets have more weapons to mask it when Rafer does shoot like this, but 18 shots is a lot of shots.

Everyone had an off night. You could say the same thing about anyone one the team. I think it was just this game. Everyone hates playing in ATL, and the Rockets just didn't shoot the ball well. I think Rafer will be better against the Bobcats.
Take it easy man, everyone is entitled to an off night. The Rockets as a team played like garbage tonight. That is why you NEED a superstar like Tmac to carry you occasionally! And IMO games like this are good for the team, it's a nice reality check since they have been so hot.

Wow...simply unbelievable. Rafer is now our second best player. Do you guys want a blowout every night or something. These guys can't shoot well sometimes. No one is going to give him any beef on his performance AT ALL. He played well. I feel sorry for fans that just look at the points column. He had 2 steals, 7 assists, and 1 turnover. Why isn't anyone blaming chuck for turning the ball over so much? Why isn't anyone blaming Scola for picking up those fouls? B/C they are not considered the best player? common guys get with it. We were the ones who praised alston and now we are just going to bring him down. Wow simply wow.
