I really was worried about this one for 2 weeks and now I am very glad it is over with a win. I wish we got the double digit win though but I am not going to be greedy especially without Yao and Landry.

We don't have better stats against this team w/out Yao.

This is the type of team that Yao can be highly effective against.

We can counter their better athleticism with interior dominance when Yao plays. That, in turn, opens up the rest of our offense moreso than anything Tracy can do.

We need to take care of business friday.

That game on Sunday is going to be electric, sold out, win streak in tact, the mighty Lakers in town. Landry's return.

Biggest game in a long time.

Man weren't you the dude who said Rockets wouldn't make it to the playoff? I always had faith in this team. Win or lose. I would be a hypocrite if I contradicted my original belief.( believing in this team win or lose.)

I can not grasp how I'm a hypocrite for telling the haters to eat it?
Maybe I dumb but that doesn't make sense.

more HISTORY!!! I also gotta post in this thread just for that reason. Incredible what these Rockets have done. Yeah I was also kinda upset that Marvin Williams made that last shot to break our potential #1 in double digit wins streak , but then I said "who cares?", we won anyway!

for anyone else who is going to the lakers game..you do know they changed it to a 230pm tip off instead of 6pm.

the thing i'm worried about is a lot of people who have tickets to that game will be oblivious to this change in game time. i don't know how they will contact all these people to let them know about tthe change

Duh.... a person with the basketball iq equivalent to that of Ralph Wiggum could have deduced that.

I was refering to the statistics shown in the post game analysis comparing our wins with Yao and without during the streak.

    20 and Counting!!!!!

The combination of JVGs years with this team and Coach RAs princeton offense has made this team a really unique team.

Tonight, with a really bad shooting night, ATL could not blow open this game. The rockets won playing great defense for 48 mins. How a team wins by 8, with Rafer shooting 3-18, scola 2 - 9 and team shoot 20.7% from downtown, and 33.3% for the whole game is only one word , D-E-F-E-N-S-E.

Credit JVG for bringing Hayes and Battier on this team, the play 48 mins defense.
TMAC rose up as a real super star, ATL could not check him the 2nd half and J Johnson faded away as battier wore his out. Rafer played great D on Bibby even though his shot was off.

Over great team victory. We really missed Landry tonight, but this is a REAL TEAM. What we loose in Yao and Landry offensively, we gain in Deke and Hayes defensively.

TC will have a lot of energy on Friday for 21, but SUNDAY will be great because the lakers are in for a shock.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!!
