All against crap teams. Jazz down at the moment against Bulls. Hopefully at least one of these teams losses. I'm hoping its the Suns or Fakers.
Interesting comment from Hollinger's chat today about the Jazz: Erik (Boston, MA): Shouldn't Utah have to learn how to win on the road before you include them on your list of title contenders? SportsNation John Hollinger: Seems like the same players handled that task fairly well in the postseason last year. Remember, abnormal home-road splits rarely hold up from year to year -- which tells us that when they happen, they're usually they're a fluke. SportsNation John Hollinger: The one reason to think the Jazz might be an exception is their massive propensity for fouling and drawing fouls. One might argue they're unusually zebra-dependent, and that it might be a factor in their home-road splits -- but that's a research topic for another day. I really hope he does the research on this, I'd love to know the difference in penalties for them home/away. (They are losing@chicago)
by the way Bulls are playing tonight, I swear I was watching the Rockets. excellent ball movement, and just shutting down Utah with their defense. Jazz going down tonite!
Hey I am just hoping they lose. I am not saying any of them are going to lose for sure. Most likely none of them will lose. Does the Jazz losing even help us? They are making playoffs regardless. I guess with homecourt.
The Jazz aren't exactly playing inspired and Boozer's jumper is off. But I still expect the Bulls to find a way to lose this game.
It won't make a difference with seeding. They can't do worse than 4th. But if we're 5th, we want homecourt. And a loss tonight(which looks likely at this point) would give them 23 losses to our 20.
Well Jazz lost. Woo hoo! How come if its so easy to beat up on crap teams the j*zz can't win 19 in a row? They freakin suck on the road!
Suns beating the crap out of poor Grizzlies. Is Memphis ever going to change their name. WTF does the city of Memphis have to do with Grizzlies? Then again WTF does SLC have anything to do with Jazz?
if we play them and we have homecourt, we can beat them. they're just a different team this yr (suck on the road). we played 2 v. 5 and still took them to 7 games (rafer/battier/howard/head sucked to the lowest level of suck last yr). i'm confident if we play them this year, even more confident without yao.
lakers game from a rockets fans perspective.. fisher's D worries me. kobe is hot. odom is attacking the hole.. aha its only 14-11 first quarter, but dang.
What a stinker by Utah. It wasn't like the Bulls were hitting on all cylinders. Like I said in another thread: The huge home vs. road disparity is a core part of the Utah Jazz franchise DNA.
Jazz used to be in New Orleans (Louisiana- Al Hirt, etc.) and Memphis used to be in Vancouver (Canada- where there are bears) New Orleans Hornets used to be in Charlotte. I do not know what hornets have to do with Charlotte though.
I don't think Chris Bosh is playing tonight, at least that's what my fantasy notes say on him. And kobe will score 81 again.
