Alston definitely raised his game this season to another level. It's no accident that the team just all the sudden starts to gell well and we went on this win streak. That's when Rafer really starting to get Rick Adelman's system and run the team very well. His improved shooting helped too.

That's not possible he was 12 in that tape because Rafer is 31 and 19 years ago And1 wasn't a company (it was founded in 1993)

So he's probably 16 or 17 in there. Not 12.

Hey, don't confuse this discussion with pesky facts. That video was made when Rafer was 7 years old. Dribbled the ball like it was a yoyo...

Adelman should promise Alston that if he gets to the final 2 minutes of a game with zero turnovers and the team has a safe lead he can do an And 1 move on the opposing guard.

Who else would have liked to see him pull Chris Paul's jersey over his head and then bounce the ball of his face?

    j/k...no really

Don't be a hater, at least not in this thread. For rafer to become an nba starting point guard playing 30min+ a game coming from where he came from, is such an astonishing accomplishment. Those pamper brats coming from big basketball programs in the nation has nothing on rafer, they had everything handed out to him. Rafer had nothing, only a baketball, and gifts that are god send.

Man, I'm so sick of posters like you. All you do is bring your hatred into threads where all people want to do is give a man his props. Rafer has very much been a key component to this 19 game winning streak, yet you can't bring yourself to just say "he's doing a great job right now". Pathetic. And on top of it, you sit there and post as if what you said is written-in-stone fact when in reality, it's nothing but your personal opinion. I happen to think Rafer could easily be on a championship team. If freaking JASON WILLIAMS can get a ring with Miami, then why can't Rafer?

I would love to see Rafer do And1 move on CP3, Nash, Deron, Parker, and BDiddy. I would LMAO!!!. I like the fact that he talks smack to other players since they talk smack like CP3 and Chandler.

I wish I could hear what Rafer said on the court that made T-Mac tell him to tone it down.

Me and my friend jokingly call him 'Alston Rafer' because he's a completely new player on the court now.

The praise he is getting now is well deserved. As bad as Rafer played early in season, we can never fault Rafer for not giving his best. It is so good see him overcome all the criticism and become the player he is today. The guy has truly inspired me.
