    oh no she did-ent!

[rquoter]"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," she continued. "And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."[/rquoter]

So will Clinton fire Ferraro from her finance committee?

not even addressing the actual statement, it kills me that any clinton supporter would make this argument considering why clinton is in any position to run for president. but I know, she negotiated peace in ireland

    She certainly should.

More divisive, false politics from the Clinton (R, New York) camp?

Ugh, that is a horribly sad photo.

Gee, a Presidential candidate who's only successful because of who they are... surely this is unprecedented?

I don't think it's a photo. It looks like a painting/drawing. There even seems to be an artist's signature on the bottom.

I doubt Clinton will get rid of anybody. When her staffer compared Obama to Ken Star, she said that the statement was accurate. When Obama's staffer called Hillary a monster she was finished.

It is a stark contrast between the two campaigns.

Talking about being lucky: I suppose Hillary Clinton wasn't elected Senator of NY and isn't in this campaign because she's former president Bill Clinton's wife?

why does it need to be refuted, and why did you post the article about whites voting for hillary like you were okay with that but blacks voting for obama is wrong?

Of course not. If P is false, then "if P, then Q" is always true. Simple logic.

    Stupid question.

We're lucky to have 2 potential candidates who are thoughtful, intelligent, ethical, and have strong convictions. Wouldn't care if either was white, black, purple, green, hetero, gay, bi ... irrelevant.

(Some of one's conviction may be a bit little askew imho... after the Bush dark ages ... but a good person none the less)

    ...

Then there's hillarity, who's intelligent ... and blech. Don't care what she is either; lying b**** or lying b****** ... the 2 asterisk difference means nothing.... identical.

Hillary refuses to Denounce or Reject Ferraro's racist statements

    From the Obama camp --

This is a shinning example why Obama is winning this nomination.

I have a feeling the Dems are going to blow another presidential election to the GOP. I'm starting to feel 2004 all over again. It won't bother me that much since a Republican president may be needed to counteract a Dem congress.

Oh this just keeps getting better and better. Texxx would be proud.

And him being black somehow is part of the equation of the discussion about "problems we're facing in this world" Geraldine?

And Hillary sits back and smiles.

    Vintage Limbaugh, or the twins!
"blah blah blah black and candidate X is black and that's why blah."
    (pause)
"why are you bringing race into this! do you hate white people!? oh so I'm a racist anytime I criticize candidate X?!"

No, morons, you're a racist when you bring race into a situation to criticize someone's qualifications for office. It's not hard to understand.

But then, I'd be hyperbolic and negative too if I was a failed politician and also a female look-a-like for Jim Mora. Not a good fate.
(edit: LOL, Achilleus... Jim Mora Sr., by the way)
