Every time I see one of these so-called 'experts' write this same tired tripe, I immediately know they writer knows ZIP. I guess it's somewhat understandable - I mean, what are these guys going to do, go back and watch every Rockets game they missed over the last couple of years in order to be able to properly compare-and-contrast the team now versus their pre-conceived notions? Probably not. Heck, I doubt most of them have even seen many of the games in the current streak. But with all the attention the Rox are getting now, NOW they are starting to watch. That's why they act all surprised by the things we've been seeing for the past 2 months.

Laff, he's just trying to lessen the blow. He, like most of the skeptics, still is saying (or at the very least strongly implying) that we'll come back "down to earth" and none of this will mean anything in the end.
