I was a little chilly this morning so I put my jacket on. But I don't have a jacket designated for the morning. I guess I'm just not fancy enough.
Yeah, I was there. While the show was friggin' amazing as I'd expected being a MMJ live show virgin, it had the feeling of a warm up show for their Evil Urges upcoming tour. Loved the new drum kit and the lighting was nice for this type of show. I think I counted 6-8 new songs, and my favorite was Smoking from Shootin', I think it was the second to last song before the encore. Evil Urges was nice, too. Dondante- Blew. me. away. The song is unbelievably moving live. Kinda wished they closed it out with One Big Holiday, but the crowd was off the hook when the opening guitar hit for that one. Mageetah was also swuut! I was looking forward to some older stuff before the Z album, but was still VERY pleased! Getting up for work this morning, not so much. I feel at least 3 beer ****s coming in the near future. I'm still upset that I missed the Wilco show Friday due to illness. I've still yet to pop my cherry on their live show.
