Looks like Landry is ok. They did further tests on him and no structural damage. He should be able to play Wednesday according to 610 sports flash. Just heard it.
He clearly didn't have that explosion in the last game in terms of finishing with dunks. If his explosion is back then get him on the court. Glad to hear he is ok and there isn't any structural damage.
I noticed that against Dallas. Looked like his leg gave out on him a few times. Good news he's ok, in my opinion Landry and Scola together are the tip of spear for this team.

It's just not as enjoyable watching Chuck Hayes lay it up when you know Carl "The Landlord" Landry could be raisin' the rent.
I have a feeling he won't play til probably Sunday vs Lakers. But it's good to know he has no tear. Good time for Rockets to look at Harris and Williams.
Right...some people actually read the existing Landry threads/posts. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=3525832&postcount=43
Good News for Rockets Forward Landry Last Edited: Monday, 10 Mar 2008, 2:54 PM CDT Created: Monday, 10 Mar 2008, 2:54 PM CDT Houston Rockets logo/AP Photo Houston Rockets forward Carl Landry met with Dr. James Andrews Monday in Birmingham, Alabama to get a second opinion on his sore right knee. The way Landry sees it Dr. Andrews gave him some good news. "He said there is no torn ligament and that is all I needed to hear," Landry said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports. "I didn't need to see or hear anything else." Landry said he had no interest in listening to the doctors talk about his injury or look at the pictures of his knee. Of Monday's news Landry said: "It could have been worse and it could have been better." "I feel like I could play right now but I'm not a doctor and I could make it worse and I don't want to do anything to hurt my future or hurt the Houston Rockets." Landry has become a significant weapon in the Rockets arsenal in just his first year in the league. He is averaging 8.5 points and 5 rebounds a game coming off the bench and his production has increased since Yao Ming suffered a season-ending injury six games ago. "Carl will continue treatments and be closely monitored by the team's doctors and when they feel it is safe for him to play, he will play," said Keith Jones, Rockets Senior V.P./Basketball Operations and trainer. Landry did not play in the Rockets win Saturday over the New Orleans Hornets and will not play Monday night against the New Jersey Nets. The Rockets have yet to announce how long Landry will be out.
Wouldn't it be funny if we could go back in time and tell the August '07 versions of ourselves that we're now "saving Landry for the big games?" They'd think we were insane.
I like "Mandry." It's pretty simple. Kinda like all the Jazz fans call Paul Millsap "Mansap" (I used to kick myself endlessly because we missed out on Millsap... now we've got one of our own!).
There's something fun about Carl Freaking Landry. Landry gets left open, rolls to the basket, slams it home. "You leaving me open? Don't you know who I am? I'm Carl Freaking Landry!" Landry grabs the rebound, jumps back up, dunks and shakes the basket. "You trying to take my rebound? Do not anger me. I'm Carl Freaking Landry!" My wife and I do that after every one of his baskets. "I'm Carl Freaking Landry, bee-otch." I'd like to add my wife has a potty mouth...
