whether or not prostitution is good, bad or ugly is irrelevant, dude ran as an ethical crusader and prostitution is illegal. plus, he has three daughters-----> what a hypocrite.. GTFO
The answer is legal and regulated prostitution is a much better means to manage infections than illegal prositution. Mandate regular health checks and mandate condom use--most of your problems are solved. Regulation and taxation of "sin" behavior (sex, drugs, gambling) is the way to go.
Does anyone remember Livingston and Hyde? Republican leaders supporting Clinton's impeachment...also had mistresses...oops! The saying people living in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones comes to mind.
Imagine this: You have all the money in the world and a pair of brass balls. Which would you do? The answer is... all of them.
I was never a Spitzer fan. The way he attacked the music industry and radio in order to help get him elected, I'm glad he's getting his. He chose to attack the music industry because it was an easy target for him to expose. Instead of going after Insurance companies and other more important corruption scandals, he chose the music industry to pounce on which ultimately led to his election of Governor to NY. I'm not protecting the music industry because there were a lot of corruption going on. However, he could've gone after other battles instead of radio payola. I have many friends on both radio and records side losing their jobs over this. Maybe it was destined to eventually happen. However, the way he went about it treating many of my friends like criminals was amazing. Phones being tapped to emails being traced. All so he could get elected. Good for him. Karma's a b**** Spitzer.
He just announced to the public that he's not resigning and he's sorry for his family blah blah blah.......as a NY taxpayer, why the **** do I care about his intra-familial situation?? This humpty dumpty lookin motherf#$cker needs to kamikaze himself off his wall and resign by sundown.
scratch that...the republicans governors assoc is calling for his resignation. i would imagine he will follow suit
is there supposed to be a causal connection between this event and your starting a thread on the Joseph Bruno investigation? I'd like to hear this one.
CNBC was just saying that when the spitzer story was reported there was cheering on the floor of the NYSE. i love it
