How long have you been a Rockets fan and where are you from?

    I was born in Zhejiang, China. And go to Hangzhou for college studies for eight years. I started to follow Rockets after Yao was drafted in 2002. I currently work in Shanghai and rox is a big part of my daily life.

    Became a Rockets fan around 2004 after I settled here for a few years. I switched from Jazz to Rockets mainly b/c of Yao and Hakeem. I've always respected Hakeem even though I disliked the Rockets back then.

    Originally from the hometown of John Stockton, met the guy a few times... became Jazz Fan b/c of stockton so don't blame me.

    And yes I was cheering when Stockton made that 3. Lol

    Was born into a Family of Die Hard Rockets fans so was pretty much a fan since as long as I can remember. I am from Houston. Born and raised on the NS of town. 26 years old

    22 yrs old Born in Trinidad and Tobago... some of my fam knew Carl Hererra and some of his family in Trinidad so the moment he became a Rocket it made alot of sense... then i just fell in love with the team... I currently live in Baytown

    im 19 and was born and raised in the H......soo as far as i can remember the game of basketball ive been a rockets fan....i remember when i was around 6 and i would watch the rockets

    From Austin, then Beaumont, TX.

    I was 5 when Ralph hit the tip-in, and my father's reaction (who likes the Rockets only after the Celtics) was my first real recollection of basketball. Even in elementary school, I was an Akeem fan, but I was also a David Robinson fan. I guess I liked the Rockets more, but it wasn't until 1993 that I really became a diehard. During the streak, even when the Rockets weren't on TV or were on after my bed-time, I'd hide under the covers listening to Gene and Jim on the radio. I'd say that I became a diehard at exactly the right time.

    Born in Houston in 1966 (41 now). Not too many old-school fans on the board it seems. I grew up accross the freeway from the Summit (Compaq Center, Lakeway Chruch) and would sneek in to see Moses, Murphy, Ried, the Whopper play. I was at the playoff game against the Lakers in '81 (the rockets lost at home but won twice in LA and went to the finals for the first time) and I have been a fan since. I was also at a playoff game against the Lakers is '86 when the Rockets won and the game in 94' against the Jazz when they clinched the Western Conference.

    I live in Ft Worth now and haven't been to any big Rockets' games in a while (oh wait...there haven't been any) but I'm still a life-long fan.
