I hate those bandwagon fans right now...
as they know nothing about the rockets, but when there's an amazing streak, everything and everyone begin cheering for them?

I mean, where were they through thick and thin??

yeah i noticed the crowd is actually into the games now. i guess im glad it was pathetic watching the home games earlier in the year, it looked like half the seats were empty. It can really fire up the team though so i hope they keep it up.

It's funny how for each home game before the streak, my Dad and I were always asked if we needed tickets to the game.
Now, during the streak, we are always asked if we have extra tickets...I love it!

The crowd at the Hornets game was awesome!!! I hope it continues!!!

Its not really a whole lot different. Everyone even non Rocket fans know Yao starts. Other than that its just the PF position and the starter is still on the team.

Its funny at the new orleans game a lot of fans didn't even know the rockets were on a 17 game win streak at the time...

It's question bandwagoner couldn't answer, most people who follow the team regularly could name starters and top 12 rotation pretty easily.

yeah, but it's annoying when you have these guys acting like they have been die hard fans the whole time telling you that ya don't know anything and questioning your objective look. Why can't i just be a fan and say what i think?

It's the way every sport is. Just like how Houston was a "baseball city" when the Stros went to the WS in 05. Winning sells tickets and makes fans out of people who wern't interested before. If they want to root for the Rockets, like DD said, The more the merrier.

Bandwagon fans sure do make good filler people. Like extras in movies, or those huge posses in rap videos. Videos would look so plain with the guy by himself with fancy cars, and only a couple of girls, and bling. It is missing a large crew of filler people. I may not post much, but I am always a Rockets fan. When I didn't have cable I used to go to wing places by myself to watch games. I think I check this site religiously and read the latest info. Like someone posted earlier the more the merrier.

What I find funny is people who call into radio stations, give a 2 or 3 minute opinion on the team (who should play, how they should play, etc.) like they actually know what they're talking about. Then they say something like "I really like that kid...oh what's his name...that rookie we got...I think his last name stars with an L...".

If you can't name the players on a 15 man team (football would be different), then you haven't been watching the games and you're not fooling anybody.

You mean the ones that "like the Astros" because they think Brandon Backe is so cuuuuuuuute?
