Even if it was a "joke" by the original poster, I don't understand the point of it. How is pretending that Yao is devastated about our winning a response to Yao haters? That just makes Yao look bad. I guess this is one of those "lost in translation" moments.

That was written almost in "Tony Homo" style. Making it look like its someone's real opinions on matters... I don't see how it can be effectively directed at Yao haters. Making him look like a prideful but ultra somber guy would be more a reflection (probably negative) on Yao himself. Anyways we're all hoping those nails are stainless and rust free, and we wish him a full recovery.
Its really sad to me that some "so called" Rockets fans could be po'ed about us being on a 18 game winning streak despite whomever gets the praise. Yao's a great player, a big loss to the team, shouldn't the rest of the guys get some credit for playing so great w/o him? sheesh.
