anyone else not getting HDNet and HDMovie on their comcast HD programming??? we've always had these channels and i just hopped on to record the black crowes live in san fransisco only to have my guide tell me that we're not subscribed to HDNet wtf is that **** all about?!?!? we've had that channel standard for a few years now and all of a sudden and w/o warning they make them premium channels???
yep.....comcast sucks; I'm looking for a replacement. I'd give AT&T u-verse a try if we had it out here in Pearland.
u-verse is cool as hell... much sleeker interface/features. cant really attest to reliability and service as i've only used it at my friends' place, but i've been impressed with it. but this just pisses me off.
i had teh channel the first week when ordered HD channels. i figured they find out it wasn't part of my package (honestly, i'm not sure if that is true or not, i never bothered to check). i don't know what else it could be.
Hdnet is working on mine. It was out last night for a bit, though. Most of the HD channels have been doing that weird fragmented/pixely thing every few mins. Anyone notice that the In Demand movie rentals went from $3.99 to $5.99? SWTsig, try resetting your box?
I wanted to watch the Crowes tonight myself. Hdnet is working but it's skipping all the time. Makes it frustrating to watch right now. Comcast is terrible, switch to Uverse if you can.
You guys need to get out of the 80's and ditch cable. If you are gonna invest in an HDTV, then invest in a good service. DirecTV and even Dish Network blow cable out of the water for about the same price.
