Well I just kicked in $20. This is either confidence that we'll easily win the next 2 games, or a hedge against having to shell out 30+. Lol. Either way, I'm really enjoying the streak right now.

I'm in for a dollar a win. I'll double it if we get out of the first round.

just out of curiousity what does it cost to keep the forum running?

as an ex wow addict: for 3yrs i was glued to that game, we had a forum like this for our guild and it was like 15bux for the year? but obviously a site that runs quite a bit more bandwith costs more to run

but then again its a text forum so inquiring minds would like to know

There might be a minimum donation amount, $10 I think? It was like that a couple years ago. Unless its changed I dont think you can donate 1$ (paypal fees and all that might make it a loss..)

So ante up the amount, cheapo... :p totally kidding.

I'll see what happens when donating less than 10

Once they hit 20, I'll donate $20, plus $1 per win after that.

    $2 for playoff wins.

Yes, but this forum and the website don't run themselves man. There is a lot of personal time and resources involved in this site, whether its covering games, going to training camp, late night, half days at work, etc etc. It all adds up and doesn't really compare to a WoW forum.

I'll donate as long as our streak run + 10 for each round we pass.

not saying its a good thing
but if yer aware of online mmorpg addictions, its not actually a small time investment, more like everyday all day that your not working is spent on it so the time inventment was high but the money cost of a vent server/forum was quite low

i was more asking of the $$ cost of the site, in general forums once they get up and running the actual moderating is minimal depending on users - this forum has obviously quite a lot of users hence the bandwith cost i was curious about but vs upkeep the users supply the data (obviously moderators included) but the moderation on a text forum (time wise shouldnt be that high?)

im quite impressed how fast this site gets its info wether its rockets or nba info, hence that is from user inputed data nothing to do with moderation (imo)

i guess that's something clutch can answer if he choose so if not meh.
