Hey ya'll, I was just wondering if any of you have any experience with buying NBA tickets off of sites like ticketstub.com or stubhub.com. I'm looking to find some tickets to the Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets game (in Denver), but the leftover ticketmaster seats are in the nosebleed section. No Bueno. The two sites I named above have a much better selection, but I'm worried about their legitmacy. I usually buy my Rockets vs. Nuggets tix off of ticketmaster( courtside always!), but I thought I'd try something new with such short notice. If you guys have any suggestions or better sites to use, I'd really appreciate some input. Thanks, Cod
I bought Astros opening day tickets through Stubhub and it was a very smooth transaction. I purchased the tickets and they were mailed out the next day via FedEx. I got them 2 days later. It really was one of the easiest online transactions I've ever had.
I bought some Astros tix on there for a friend and it was like 22 dollars in fees. It got here on time, everything went smoothly but the fees are crazy.
i actually always get tickets under face from stubhub...sometimes they rape you but you can actually find good seats under face...i went to the hornets game last night sat in section 114 row 5 and paid only 100 dollars...thats a steal...i suggest stubhub and ebay
Yeah sometimes you can find a good deal on ebay and stubhub. In fact I just bought 4 tix in sec 421 row 4 for friday's game for 32 dollars total on stubhub. I used this code WEL02082 and it took 20 dollars off my order which was essentially discounting the shipping and commission fee they charge on there.
my advice for you is don't let the name of the site fool you. look for the individual listing itself. ebay is only cheap if the listing is cheap. like last week i was looking for a router, i saw people bidding like 45-50 dollars for the linksys router which is like the exact same price at circuit city. if i am going to pay that much, might as well go to a store. why risk it on ebay? i have gotten good deals on rockets tickets on ebay. just find out what section and stuff its in, then go back to the rockets site and try to get the same section..and see what the face value is. then decide if it's a good deal.
buy from stubhub. the site is legit. i bought 2 rockets vs. kings tickets for about $12 with a coupon code WEL02083 $20 off coupon code... I got 4 Texans tickets (face value $72) for $98 all together during football season
Throw me in as another who had a good transaction with Stubhub. I bought tickets to a game at the palace, paid less than face value with a parking ticket from a season ticket holder in the lower level. Bought the tickets three days before the game delivered two days after purchase.
Here is a lesson ladies and gentlemen. I mean to spell peninsula. And always log out. or else youre going to have halfway drunk girls get on your username.
Try Ebay first, sometimes people get desperate and sell for really cheap. However, that is unlikely since it is Denver and GS and both teams are pretty popular so people are going to be looking for the tickets. Option #2: Try Craigslist. You can go to "For Sales" and put Nuggests Warriors (Date). Once that happens, it will show you the results. Now click on the "For Sale" drag down menu and you can scroll down to "Tickets" and that should filter you search even further. Option #3: BarrysTickets. They sell their tickets at a really good price. Cheaper than StubHub, VIPTickets, etc. StubHub use to be good, but then Ebay bought them out and now it is a big ass rip off! Glad that helps. Craigslist is a good option because you can bargain with people.
At least those girls didn't talk about getting blowed by a man. I was gonna use Stubhub to get tix for Dane Cook's show last December. Then I realized he was schitte.
