Ooh, until you mentioned that about Marbury I totally forgot that he used to play for the T-Wolves. That would have been a great combo had he stayed. I know the he wanted to be traded as well but I thought it was because he wanted to live closer to NYC and not that he wanted more money. I may be wrong on this though so just fill me in if you can.

Basically, Garnett entered the NBA a year before Marbury and got that gigantic contract when his time came. Because of Garnett's contract, the NBA decided to do something about the skyrocketing player salaries and thus instituted a maximum, the one we have now. When Marbury's contract came up for renegotiation, it was in the first year of the new limits; thus, although he would have certainly been offered the "MAX" possible salary, it would not equal the amount Garnett got, which was unlimited and not affected by the new rules.

Stephon came out publicly and said he just couldn't deal with the fact that K.G. was making so much more than he, despite the fact that they were close friends, and couldn't play with him knowing that. Then later, when it became obvious that the T-Wolves were going to have to trade him because of his b****ing, he started to say about how he wanted to go back to NYC to his roots. I have to say I was happy to see the Nets suck while he was there, and doubly happy that Jason Kidd is now making him look bad by turning that team around into something worthwhile. :D

I would like to edit an earlier statement regarding my hatred of the entire Utah Jazz organization. I caught Game 4 (?? Round) from the 1985 NBA Playoffs on ESPN Classic Saturday between the Jazz and the Nuggets and I actually found a Utah Jazz character that I like (not to mention, reminded me of a Nugget I liked also). I loved Jazz coach Frank Layden. That guy looked like the epitomy of a door-to-door salesman. I still don't know how he (or anyone else) ever put up with John Stockton and his 'nutters'. Get with the times John and wear some longer shorts.

I also liked Doug Moe. Layden and Moe were NBA fashion statements for white guys in the early and mid 80's.:D

Many of you have listed just the players but not why you hate. I will give my top 5 and the reasons why:

    1. Karl " Rogaine" Malone - dirty, rotten, trash talking, flopping, Rogaine not working, no good, punk ass b****.

    2. John "Alfalfa" Stockton - Loves to flop like Malone, and is a dirty little white dude. Likes to wear ball-hugger shorts (need I say more).

    3. Rick "cool hair" Fox - Pretty boy poser who gets to bang Vanessa Williams whenever he wants. Of course he is too busy doing fashion shows for that.

    4. Rasheed "somebody paint that ugly ass gray spot" Wallace - I read the article in SI of how the Blazers so-called helped children in need during Christmas. That low class ass clown was on his cell phone all day (along with Quitten and Bonzi Wells), waiting for the day to be over. One word: JERK.

    5. Michael "I need to sell some Wizard tickets" Jordan - Dude what do you have left to prove? You have 6 rings, more money than God, and are already considered the greatest basketball player ever. We all know you can still ball, but your EGO is waaaaaay to big pal. b*stard thinks that if he starts playing, then maybe he can recruit players to come to DC.

I don't get why you guys hate Collier. He is a nice guy. I've met him before and he seemed really nice.
