Whats even more ironic is Charles Prediction that Rockets will lose to Dallas, Rockets dominated.

Stephen Douchebag Prediction that rocket's streak will end when they play hornets, Rockets dominated.

Lets just keep it going, I take irony as a source of motivation.

Hopefully this will be the end of the Hornet's Cinderella Story, and they will return to earth a la Portland!

even more more ironic is that
    #18 = 3 X Chandler's #6
    #18 = 1.5 X Alston's #12

I want them to make the playoffs. The Hornets getting a lottery pick gives them the depth they need.

Well I kinda feel sorry for Gerald Green, hes been waived. But it would seem like that he hasn't been doing a good job in practice. The rockets signed justin williams and Mike Harris. Im actually looking forward to mike harris, the boy can dunk.
RA believes in the young ones, and thats good. He probably sees sumthin in Mike Harris.

What a great game by Tmac and Chris Paul. That was a classic duel between those 2 guys who led their team without important players in their lineup. The game was very fun to watch.

Tmac played his heart out for 48 minutes, and he didn't settle for jump shots all night, although they were going for him. Great all around game, 41 pts, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, on 17-27 shooting (4-4 ft, 3-8 3pt), in 48 minutes. Outstanding performance.

Rick Adelman has already accomplished one of his biggest goals in Houston already: He transformed it from Tmac + Yao is the only way of winning, to making this a true TEAM. Even when Yao was playing, if he had a bad game, everyone else still picked it up. Even today, with Landry out, and Scola struggling to score, Tmac picked it up, because he had his shot going, but still got everybody involved. Rafer put in 20 points today, Battier held Stojakovic to 5-14 shooting, Deke had a big block on Chandler, Chuck Hayes played phenomonal defense and grabbed 9 boards. This team knows how to win in so many different ways. We don't live and die with 1 or 2 players anymore, like in years past.

Thats what JVG couldn't do. He didn't have this much talent...but he lived and died with Tmac and Yao. Adelman, since 2008 has figured out whats been working, and has these guys playing as a TEAM. We haven't had that since the championship days, when OT, Mad Max, Cassell, Horry, Elie,or Kenny Smith would pick up the slack if Dream or Clyde had a bad night.

This is really fun to watch. Hopefully we can just keep playing good basketball. If we lose a few games, so what, we've been playing great with the exception of 2 or 3 games in 2008. As long as we go into the Playoffs with this kind of confidence, the Rockets have CHANCE to atleast make some noise in the playoffs. Lets just enjoy this while we can.

I missed the game due to work, but did Rafer give it to Chris Paul as bad as he got it? 37 and 11 for Paul is just outrageous! I know the guy's an impossible cover, but we're a defensive team and that's just flat out murder. Please tell me Rafer didn't get killed.

Rafer didn't get killed, his defense was good and he got his own thing going. He was just having a BATTIER DAY, where you do everything right on defense and the other superstar still scores on you. Can't do much better. :D

My only criticism would be the open 3s. You've got to force him off the line to help. Those 3s could have come back to haunt us.

I'll just quickly touch on a few things.

If you are bringing up anything negative in your posts about this game (i.e. Mac being frustrated b/c he wasn't getting an ssist) don't even bother posting. We have great chemistry and nobody is playing selfish or for stats.

Who cares about what CP3's +/- stats were? If you watched any of the gamne our game plan weas clearly to let CP3 get his (he always does) vut no get beat by other players. Blantantly obvious. Pargo, Wright, Mo Pete and a few others got some easy buckets that we didn't want them to. We adjusted and cut that down in the second half (with the exception of Wright who isn't a game plan player yet). They played right into our hands by allowing Peja to force up tough jumpers while Battier put the locks on him as usual.

In closing, there is nothing negative to say at all except if you want to talk about Jackson's play. Either he adjusts or we use our other options but this is a time to get behind out team. not to nit pick or pass judgement on meaningless negative opinions. This team is for real. Even the haters (Barkley, Kenny, Steven A.) are eating large helpings of crow as we speak. You can't argue we're just hot or playing a weak schedule anymore. Contenders....you bet. Go Rockets.

All you T-Mac haters, be careful jumping back on the bandwagon-- you might fall of and break something.

That's already part of being credentialed in LA.

    Great game!!

But I wonder why would RA play Tmac all 48mins? Are we forgetting Yao's injury and Tmac's history of back problems already?! 18-0 is great, but I rather see a healthy McGrady in the playoffs. This game makes me miss Yao even more. Hving Yao in the lineup in the last game vs NO just makes it so much easier for the team. Nonetheless, it was really fun watching the Rockets knocking down those 3pts.
