Isiah Thomas? T-Mac played all 48 minutes tonight. Not a good thing long term. I'd take either Yao or Paul, doesn't matter. Either one can take a huge load off of T-Mac's shoulders.
It's funny how we struggle to get people to vote 5's on quality threads ... but any thread that casts a negative light on Yao immediately gets flooded with 1 ratings the second it goes up.
it would never happen, but if u look at it, paul fits this team better. the way he runs the pick and roll, landry and scola would go OFF so we don't really need an inside presence. when we struggle to score, we can always put tmac in the high post. can u imagine 2 high IQ players in paul and tmac controlling the ball?
It's not even really negative. Paul is elite. The better question is, "Would New Orleans trade Paul for Yao?" I think no.
Is it a law here at Clutch-dom to make a "Trade yada yada for yada yada" thread EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME AFTER A GAME, EVEN AFTER WINS, NOT TO MENTION THAT WE'RE IN A 18 GAME WINNING STREAK. I don't care how good CP3 is, this is Yao's home, and he belongs here. I would not want to see Yao in any other uniform besides ours. This thread, like many other threads, are just useless and moronic.
An interesting observation. It is not that funny though. When people rate the thread, personal taste toward that thread may carry a heavier weight than its quality, though quality is one of the major factors in evaluation.
ask the blazers, who drafted big and not small. when you're talking about greatness, it's about greatness.
The thread will become 'would you trade Chris Paul for Yao?' if Paul is in our team and we play well without him.
With Yao's history of injuries it makes this a VERY tough choice..... I am on the fence and I love Yao...but an elite PG.....wow. DD
I seriously cannot see what quality such proposal has brought to the board. The op obviously been obsessed by the brilliant performance by CP3 tonight then throw out a trash trade proposal where the only "positive" outcome was to trigger the nerves of Yao fans. Labron scored 50 points the other night and Nate Robinson 45 pts tonight too, do you want a "Would you trade Yao for whoever-score-high-or-assist-high?" poll come out every game night? Many here may, I believe you too may be, still feel unsecure about our point guard position but do you seriously think that New Orleans would trade CP3 for Yao?
