We have missed Landry tonight since Scola didn't have a good game. Landry's ability to attack the basket is a big part of the new Rockets identity. Come back soon Carl!
I felt so bad for that guy.It was hard to watch him watching from the sidelines...It kinda wasn`t fair. lol That`s life.
Poor Gerald Green I actually thought he had a future with us and he was very excited to be playing for his hometown team and now he's unemployed. Hope Landry's injury is minor.
Yep we are 1-0 without laundry. We are winning without him.Iguest we don't need him like we don't need yao huh?
I'm sorry I can't find the link to a statement that Landry made to Yahoo today. In it he said he was walking fine and can't wait to get back. Nevertheless we still don't know what is the official diagnosis.
Landry has a bruised knee. He suffered that in Indiana game. He played hard, so understandably would get injured from time to time. Hope he recovers soon, as now we only have Scola playing post game. Did you see how many times Hornets got offensive rebounds today? The only reason we won was our hot shooting. We need Landry back in the lineup, esp. with Yao out.
Any updates on Landry? Rockets' signing Harris really scares me into thinking that his injury may be serious.
Rockets signed Harris yesterday for more depth last night against the Hornets and tomorrow against the Nets. You do know Harris was only signed to 10 days right?
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5604574.html " He said he was not concerned about the uncertainty in diagnosing the injury or that it is in the knee he previously had injured. "It might just set me back for a game," said Landry, who is averaging 8.5 points and five rebounds. "I know I got bumped and it swelled up, but that's it. Nobody has diagnosed anything. It's a mild swelling. We want to make sure it goes down before we get back on the court. I'm walking around fine. I'm sure it's nothing major. "
haven't read the entire thread but Chron is reporting at least two games out with another look after the swelling subsides ...
If the swelling goes down by itself it's unlikely to be an effusion. However there still remains the possibility of structural injury within the knee. I'm encouraged by him walking without difficulty. I assume an MRI might be the next step. Get well Carl. We all love you.
