The Hornets are going to beat the Nets today, and be 42-20, even if we win against them tomorrow we'll have the same overall record, and a worse conference record. So it may happen, but not yet

Both teams played really well tonight, Jazz got the best of them. Shaq played well. The Jazz are a good team.

Both teams were missing their best defensive player.

Suns were missing Marion and Jazz were missing AK47.

The difference is, Jazz will get AK47 back soon.

It's funny. They trade for Shaq to have defensive and rebounding presence but they're handcuffing themselves if they play him during crunch time due to his inability to shoot free throws. If they keep him in games during crunch time when it's close (like tonight), they can't get good spacing and/or two points from the FT line. If they leave him on the bench during said time, their defense goes from "not entirely there" to "are you kidding me?".

Utah's woes on the road are overrated. They play well when it counts.

I really hoped that the Suns would win, but it didn't happen. They will play Denver tomorrow and Boston next Friday. Please, Denver and Boston, beat the Jazz

The last month or so they've been down big in the first 3 quarters (like tonight) but claw their way back for wins. Okur is finding that stroke again and that makes them all kinds of dangerous.

This game reminds me I do NOT want the Rockets to play the Jazz in the 1st round.

well....the suns defense has the tendency to make anybody's offense look unstoppable...

Jazz have the second best record in the league since January 1st, after the Rockets. They are definitely a team to be reckoned with in the postseason. This was an impressive win on the road for them.

The Suns need to be worried right about now.

I almost think the Rockets would match up better with the Jazz this time around - Yao was a defensive liablity playing them. Now we have 3 quick PF's that can guard Boozer/Okur. Bring 'em on.
