If we win Saturday, and that's a pretty big if, we're entering rarified air getting close to 20 wins. Only three others teams have done that in NBA history. Are schedule during this streak has been a little weak, but I'll be damned, if we haven't won every one of those games convincingly (except Sacramento, of course), not just winning, but crushing the opponent.

However, Kenny and Charles proved last night we're still completely written off, nobody is watching this team closely. We have a chance to make a lot of noise and do something special here. Keep it up, stay humble, its a great time to be a Rockets fan.

So true. Still somewhat under the radar, this is actually a great place to be. Sneak attack. But, in March we play the elites of the league. Let's see how resilient they are because surely they are going to get beat up a bit. This should toughen them up for the playoffs.

See, it's a metaphor: Godzilla is the Rockets, the other kaiju he's whupping is the rest of the NBA, and, um, I guess the guy trapped under the hydraulic press is the Larry O'Brien trophy. Yeah...

I am very very very proud of this team.. It's really a team work. Everybody active, hussle and score. Their defence get stronger and hard to break.. Get Roll Rocket. Beat Hornet for the next one!

Mark Cuban was suspiciously absent. Maybe he and Dirk decided to have some Maverick fun

Whoever was dogging me for saying crap about Mario Elie, obviously that was tongue in cheek. People should check their sarcasm radar and make sure it's functioning.

As far as Juwan Howard, anytime you drive to the basket and lead with your knees you are doing it to dole out some punishment and/or an attempt to not get your shot blocked (create space between you and the shotblocker). Juwan is known for playing dirty when he doesn't get his way. I like Juwan, but he intentionally stuck out his knee. Again, about being a traitor that was a joke.

Great win...Great team flow and chemistry...Glad I went...Met up with all the rowdies from Houston in our section...Was there for shoot around, autographs, etc...A couple of observations..

    1) Rowdies rock...we owned AA Center last night...There were some Mav hecklers but once the Rox starting kicking azz in the 3rd quarter, they were quiet...so much so, they left in the 4th...We started chanting "Why ya'll quiet"...classic... :D

    2) Actually, i wouldn't call it heckling..Some douche was yelling "Go to sleep Yao"...WTF is that? obviously the $30,000 millionaire was retarted and from Dallas...

    3) I always knew Dallas was a bandwagon city, but damn, did you see how empty the AA Center got...I was talking to a guy on the train going home and he said if the Mavs weren't going to the playoffs he'd kill himself...lol...He did go on to say this was the first time he thought the Kidd trade was a bad idea...

Lots of crow being served up here in Dallas today starting with the talking heads on the radio. Mav fans are pissed! Before last night, they were publicly looking at winning 9 out of the next 10 games (Boston would be the only loss). Beating Houston last night was a given. I knew the Rockets had a great chance to win this game because any team that consistently attacks the basket can beat Dallas - Dirk or no Dirk. And that's exactly what the Rox did - what I knew they'd do and it was a sweet thing to see. The Mavs are staggering right now and that trade for Kidd is looking worse and worse by the day. To hear these folks b**** and moan up here today, you'd swear it was last year in Houston with JVG. :)

BigSherv: Why do you hate Vspan?? you should love him since he landed us Scola..

Morey has been thoroughly raping teams in trades since he got here. I think even if he made 2 or 3 bad trades this summer, I wuold let him slide for doing such an incredible job this year.

I just realized this, but we won so soundly and so easily, that I forgot we were on a back-to-back! Notice none of the commentators mentioned this, but I bet if it had been Dallas on the back-to-back, they would have added that to their mountain of excuses. We just flat out out-worked them, and people are still wondering how we'll react to adversity. It doesn't get any more adverse than losing Yao - yet we have made no excuses. We just keep on winning.

Rockets will win over NO tmrw. they have more speed without Yao to cover the pick and roll of Chris P. and their big guys, we play better defense without Yao and we are super Hot on shooting the ball. Rocs by 12
