Dunte is back in Houston from rehab in Alabama. Definitely seems that he is working realy hard and is real upbeat. Dunte has an unbelievable attitude and you have to be proud that he is a Texan.

He thinks he'll play 10-12 games next season!! I still think its a reach but man would that be an unbelievable recovery.

Feel bad for him, terrible injury in a contract year. I wish him the best but that is probably wishful thinking..

    Dunta, fyi..

But there's no mention or even a hint of questioning his ability to come back at the CB position. I'm just gonna take that as a good sign and say everyone must believe he's very likely to have the speed & agility back to play at CB still..

Yea, Adam & Danny on sr610 played that last night with him saying he'd start the year on the PUP list, but figured he could play in 10-12 games. He also said he was sorry to disappoint all those people that were saying he'd be done 'til '09. He will play in 2008!

If I could say anything to Dunta, I'd tell him he's instrumental to the development of this resurgent TEXANS team, and that we need him badly, and that I thank him for always leaving it all on the field. Thank you, Mr. Robinson.

"BE WELL, Dunta." <- name that movie (difficulty: easy)

Do you really think the Texans would broadcast that...especially with the draft around the corner?

Dunta is the man. Got to love having a player that has such a great attitude and strong work ethic on this team.

Dunta is my favorite player in the Nfl. This news makes me so happy.I want to see him play opposite of Bennet. If we had a good safety, our secondary should be pretty good which is amazing considering we thought it was going to be so poor this year.
Dunta be good and be smart about this.DO NOT RUSH BACK. we need you for years to come.

The Texans wouldnt broadcast it...but if you watch the video, there is no reason for Dunta to BS. He's way ahead of schedule and he's working his butt off...I dont think he would be this excited about returning to the field if he wasnt somewhat close to it.

I'm confused. If he starts the season on the PUP list, then how can he play in 10-12 games? I thought players on the PUP list were not eligible to come off the list until after Week 9, and the team had to make a decision by like Week 12 or something. Or do I have that wrong?

I don't doubt his returning to the field ahead of schedule. And let me make this clear,I root for him in a big way.
But what I was saying had to do with him playing CB specifically.

He's definitely working his butt off but we're definitely gonna have to wait and see whether he's ahead of schedule. He even said himself he has a ways to go and the one thing we know about Dunte, he's gonna try his hardest to get back on the field.

With that said, his injury was HORRIBLE and while I want to be optomistic, it's going to be an all out uphill battle for Dunte to come back this season and play well.
