Yao doesn't get a lot of blocks because he has bad reaction time. It's the same reason why he rarely, if ever wins the opening tip.

Players are very afraid to drive into the paint when Mutombo is there. His elbows are deadly and he is one of the best shot blockers of all time.

Actually I believe the rule is that you must be released before March 1st, but you can be picked up after that and still be eligible. I looked around the web to clarify this.

    excellent news

But anyway, if Rox thought of it earlier, PJ Brown or even Chris Webber might be acquired. As everyone know, veterans are more contirbutable for playoffs.

Yao doesn't block a lot of shots because players adjust their shots in front of him. Him merely standing up with arms up is a shot arc changing presence.

Not true. He wasn't with another team after March 1st, so he can play for us in the playoffs.

    ESPN.....Rockets to sign Justin Williams

Just read on front page of ESPN.COM in the article about Rockets win vs Mavs that Adelman stated after the game that they are going to sign Justin Williams. What do you guys think??

I think this has been already covered and discussed.

My opinion, he's a 6 fouls scrub. Just in case our bigs get injured or into foul trouble.

young, very athletic, just like our carl landry. It's a great pick, it doesn't cost us much. He might be the best big man we can get for now.

Thanks for Mike Bibby's trade that he got cut. :D

WOW, I was gonna post this, but you beat me to it. I will just say it again like the guy that started this thread!

So like I was saying I think this has been already covered and discussed.

My opinion, he's a 6 fouls scrub. Just in case our bigs get injured or into foul trouble.

Nice! We needed another 6-10 or taller body who can hit the glass and block some shots. Get him in here and have him work with Dikembe RIGHT NOW.

I'm sure that you and v3.0 were the same guys that considered Chuck Hayes and Carl Landry scrubs when we first got them as well.
