Will We Struggle in Crunch Time in Tonights Game if it's Close??

My assertion is based on last year's Jazz series.

Using ball movement and back cuts to get open looks against bad defensive teams in the regular season is beautiful to watch. But it doesn't work as well during the playoffs late in games when the defense pressures the ball and contests every pass. Since Tracy is the only one who can create his own shot with any success, what happens when teams double him?

Against good defenses, Luther doesn't get off uncontested shots and you must have forgotten how jittery he was in the playoffs. He could barely dribble the ball. He did the same thing in a couple of regular season games last season and I wasn't surprised by the choke job against the Jazz.

I will be ecstatic if we win a playoff series but I don't want to get my hopes up too much based on the current win streak.

Rockets have 5 people who can score now so they will be fine. In crunch time we no longer have to play 5 on 4 on the offensive end.

Ill gladly eat crow today guys. I was completely wrong in saying that the game would be close. :D

And ill put it out there. The way Tmac and Alston played tonight, i dont reckon we would have struggled in crunch time anyway :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Great win against a rival. Beating the Mavs gives me more pleasure than beating any other team in the NBA. But they haven't looked very good since the trade and didn't give us much of a game without Dirk. I still want to see us execute our offense in crunch time against a tough defense, just to see what happens. I want to see how we bounce back after losing a couple of games in a row. This streak has been great fun but I want a team to punch the Rockets in the nose to see how the players react.

    I'd rather just keep winning.

What is a close game? I have not seen one in so long I am starting to forget. I thought close games were fun, but definitely enjoy blowing off teams better. It is better for the heart.
