With NOWINSKI out tonight shouldn't we be favored to win but when I check ESPN we are at a 47% chance odd of winning compared to Mavs 53%??

I see that as a HUGE knock on Nowitski, don't you?

Does that mean the Mavs are better without Dirk????????? :p

OK, honestly, given our history with the Mavs, given their talent (they still have Kidd, Howard, Terry and Stack that can fill up the stat sheet), and also given their success at home this season, I am not surprised.

Makes me want to place a bet though....wonder what the line is? ;)

Mavs are pretty dominant on their home court and we're coming off a game last night. I'd say those odds are pretty accurate. Our recent record against them was factored into that as well. I think the Rockets do better in the underdog role anyway.

If you guys bet, Dallas is a (-1) favorite tonight over Houston. Take the moneyline, bet on the underdogs and collect your cash!

im tired of all disrepect to the rockets I remember last year when the Suns had a 17 win streak everyone was all over the nuts yet we have 16 win streak and people still give us no respect. I wished NO WIN SKI was playing some we can play the MAVS at full strength and dismantle them on TNT. Because if we win Kenny and Charles will just say they didn't have Dirk. Anyone curious what charles and kenny are gonna say about the rockets win streak on inside the nba?

When riding a major winning streak, the odds that you'll lose the next one increase with each win. Bubble has to burst at some point.

Eh, Rockets are still relatively fresh after a long homestand and playing good ball makes you even fresher.

I like the chances tonight. Kidd's not going to kill us with jumpers, Shane will make his guy work. TMac will play passable D and deke will neutralize Dampier. That leaves who, Bass, for Scolandry to handle.

Now, if they go small, that leaves Carluis chasing after Stackhouse which might be an issue, but under that scenario, the Rocks will own the boards.

Should be many backdoor cuts tonight and a solid rebounding edge for the Rockets.

We are at the second of B2B, and fatigue will affect our jumpshots. Other than that, we are playing best team basketballs, and can beat Mavs without a doubt.

Back to back games usually mean something when both are on the road, especially at the end of a long trip....not home and away.

Besides the Rockets record has been pretty good in that department of late.

Dallss is very tough at home. Id probaly peg it as one of the three toughest places to win in the league, behind Utah and Boston.
