It is coming from the Enquirer, but this doesn't seem like something that they would make up and I haven't heard of any denials from Swayze's people. http://www.nationalenquirer.com/patrick_swayze_cancer_weeks_live/celebrity/64581
this is confirmed via that oh so reliable news source: E-online http://www.eonline.com/news/article...m_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories
Actually, it only confirms that he has cancer. The E!-Online report says that he is progressing as expected and isn't dying. This sounds more believable.
http://www.abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/CancerPreventionAndTreatment/story?id=4395963 Confirmed by ABC news, however they are saying he has "only a limited amount of the cancer." I don't know, I thought pancreatic cancer was always deadly. I like him alot so I really hope he's able to beat it.
Is it not the most deadly form of cancer? My ex girlfriend's parents both had it and died within months/year...
MSNBC is reporting that a press release from Swayze's spokesperson says that he... "has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Patrick’s physician Dr. George Fisher states, ‘Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.’" I dunno.... pancreatic cancer is usually a death toll. VERY low survival rate. link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23488585/
Poor Swayze, always seemed like a good guy. He, Steve Francis, and I fill out the triumvirate of great alumni from San Jac
Pancreatic cancer is usually a grim prognosis...but exceptions do occur. One of my former employees mother had cancer of the pancreas..was given 6 months, about 5 years ago.

Man that pic they have on CNN does not look anything like the Dalton I recall. I think that's more of an age thing than cancer.

This makes the occasional hip-hop phraseology "I'm out like Ghost" or "I'm Ghost like Patrick Swayze" a little more eerie.
