Unless the Rockets go deep in the playoffs, Landry will not get a chance to showcase himself to the point where he will be offered the MLE. He's still playing limited minutes.

From the Rockets perspective, it would be great if they could split the MLE between Landry and another player. It hasn't been done too many times, but the MLE can be split.
In 2001 the Orlando Magic split the MLE between Patrick Ewing and Horace Grant.

and Tmac is not 6 9. He's 6 8. Landry is 6'7", very similar to Ben Wallace or Jason Maxiell in terms of height and hops.

Wow. This is such unfamiliar territory. The Rockets are getting some love? Landry deserves it!

btw, not that it matters, but i've stood next to both Scola and Landry and Scola is easily two inches taller than him. I know Scola is listed at 6'9 so I gotta assume Landry to be 6'7. Like I said, doesn't matter, especially with his vertical.

Scola has been in top five for a while now. Landry is coming on strong late, he will be in top five by year end as well. :D

I guess this will go back and forth forever, but Battier is 6'8" and Tracy is taller than him. He's 6'9".

Scola is supposed to be 6'9 barefoot (making him 6'10 1/4)... also if i'm not mistaken Tracy is taller than 6'9 just he has horrible posture but Landry is 6'7 3/4 barefoot so 6'9 in shoes

Much deserved props for both Landry and Scola, but the guy who I can't give enough love to is Daryl Morey. The guy is a genius. Seriously, have we ever had two of the top 10 rated rookies? Daryl, if you're reading this - My first kid is going to be named after Hakeem, but if you keep this up the second kid is going to be named 'Daryl', regardless of sex. :D

On the whole HOW TALL IS CARL debate... I helped shoot the player intros on media day and Mr Landry arrived in the room and he and the Chuck Wagon were standing with each other and mr Landry is taller than the wagon but shorter than the Argentinian...but I must say Scola is much more hideous in person...but his girlfriend is FINE.

Q: Seriously, if they did the draft over again ... I mean, you have to admit, I'd go in the top 10, right? I was the hidden gem of the 2007 draft. Everyone thought I was 6-foot-7 when I'm really 6-foot-9. Everyone was worried about my torn ACL in college when my knee was fine. Everyone called me an undersized power forward when I was really the only true power forward in that entire draft. Even your boy Chad Ford gave the Rockets a D-plus after last year's draft. Now I'm the X-factor for the Rockets as we make our push to replace the Giants as the latest Ewing Theory team. So where would I go if they did the draft over again?

Scola was listed 6'8" before he came in the league. He was listed 6'8" in last year's world championships. In the rest of the world they measure height without shoes.
