    thanks for the transcript thats pretty telling that battier wouldnt want to be a coach because he would be too hard on his players not being as prepared as he was....i would want a coach like that personally

    I actually had to look it up to make sure that Days of our Lives was a soap opera and not a sitcom. I was hoping I had it wrong and it was the latter.

    Battier has gotta be the only guy in NBA history, other than maybe John Amaechi, to watch soap operas. Can you see LeBron James watching that crap? I bet Tony Parker didn't even watch the one his wife was in.

    Somebody please tell me that wasn't really our defensive stopper in the live chat.

    Shane_Battier: Oh yea, there sure was, John. It was you. I was hoping we could hang out together on road trips and watch soap operas all day long before games (Shane giggles sheepishly).
