Not sure if this are the best plays of Luis, but is a good sample of his moves around the post, i like the music, just fits him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSHku3UY9w0
I think he and Landry are going to be great for the Rockets for years to come. Especially since the starting spot, to an extent, is still up for grabs. Both will work hard to prove that they deserve to be in that starting line up, and both will get better and better. Maybe Landry will pick up some of Scola's amazing footwork and fakes. He already has everything else.
Based on the video i must say, rockets need to post up scola a lot more, i would post him up 10 times a game to see how many he can make.
I think Adelman was asked about adding more post ups to the offense in the last post game. He didn't seem to think that would be a good idea for this bunch.
Maybe not for every time, but post up plays are very effective for crunch time situations. It is always safe to have a guy you can post up in need of a basket, and i think scola is teh best post up player available on the team.
Video quality was hurting there, but the plays made it worthwhile. It's funny that the Rockets have two guys who show that it's not all about how high you can jump, and one guy who shows what you can do when you can jump. Luckily, all three are very effective.
LOL, Scola always fake at least 5 times before putting up a shot. Gotta love the footwork though, I guess he stole a few from the Dream. And what's up with the elevator music?
It would be nice to see the Dream helping Scola and Landry out over the off season especially on defense.
except the 10th, the other moves are CLASSIC Scola is a typical CLASSIC low post player, when the Rockets stole him from the Spurs, I was very excited b/c i know the double team on YAO would soon fade out since Scola will kiss a$$ PS:man, I miss bonzi, poor man
