I have a question regarding HDTV and video game resolution. So I have a pretty old HDTV. It only goes up to 1080i. I have two HD component inputs, and one of them is reserved for the cable. So right now.

--My Wii is plugged into a regular (non-HD) 3 component input
--My xbox 360 is plugged into the other 5 component HD

I'm wondering. If I purchase a 480p HDTV cable for my Wii, and an HDMI cable for my 360. What will happen?

--Will my Wii look significantly better?
--Will my xbox look significantly better?

Does your Xbox 360 have an HDMI port?
The Wii will look MUCH better, you can see a big difference in games like Zelda: TP. The Standard def version looks like someone smeared vasoline on the screen.
Go to monoprice.com for the Component Wii cable. You can get it for like 5-6 bucks.

    Edit: This is Miguel :p
