    We Have the tiebreaker on Phoenix. We are 1-1 against each other so the first tie break (highest win percentage between the two teams is thrown out). The second tiebreaker, division record, is also thrown out because it says only if the two teams are in same division. So it is the third tiebreaker of conference record that breaks it. Phoenix is one game over .500 against West (which shows they will again struggle in playoffs, if they make it) meanwhile we are 7 or 8 games over .500 against West. So if Dallas loses (just forced OT with Dirk 3) and we win we will be the 5th seed. I agree with the guy who said doesn't really matter right now because its so close but I disagree with him that it would be bad. This team is going to get complacent just because it has the tiebrekaer to get 5th seed and is 1/2 game ahead of Dallas. No team in this playoff race can get complacent.

    BTW Utah could easily miss playoffs. They have a 1 1/2 game lead over Denver they lose that division they are out of playoffs. For Denver its more so catch Utah than catch 8th. Just an observation to think about.

    I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Indiana game. We have a chance to make Rocket history with a win tonight against Denver. None of, us old or young, have ever seen a Rocket 16 game win streak. A win in tonight's game also put u 4 games ahead of Denver and moves us past the Mavs if Kobe holds on in OT.

    Uh, no. I might root for a team to lose, but I would never wish harm on another person. What happened with Yao sucked, but all the more reason why I don't want other fans to experience the same thing.

    This is a great chance for the Rockets to put more space between the teams behind them, ESPECIALLY the 9th seeded team. With a win tonight the Rockets would be the 5 seed, Phoenix the 6th seed and Dallas the 7th seed.

    just wanted to point out, after we win tonight, technically we will have the 4th seed... and if the playoffs were tomorrow, we would have home-court over the jazz.
