Not originally reffering that they WILL play there, but they have chances. Mavs look even better with Kidd, amazing how he combined with Nowitzki and Howard.

On the other hand Kobe is playing very unselfish, with Gasol in tandem and with the comeback of Bynum they're serious contenders, we possibly might see 80's duel CELTICS-LAL in Finals.

I hope I'm wrong and that our dear Rockets beat badly all of them, starting with Nuggets tonight.

This season, all Lakers games are fun and entertaining to watch. This one shouldn't be any different.

It's about time Kobe is going to say that Gasol is the best center he's ever played with. ;)

We have a better chance of getting there than Dallas.

They still have no halfcourt game.Look at the last game against the Spurs.SA executes their offense down the stretch and forces the tough shot by Dirk at the wire.

Despite SA's lack of athleticism I expect either them or us to be facing the Lakers in the WCF's.

Watched the first quarter. Not intimidated by either team. Feel like we can play with the Lakers. Feel like we should beat the Mavs as currently constructed.

I hate to say it, but I love watching the LAL play on TV. Vujacic is actually turning out to be a player. That team is scary.

dallas is basically a jump shooting team.

no inside presence, you can see that when kidd is in the game, the d just leaves him alone and focuses on other players

and josh howard, what happened to his shot?? 2 - 8

lol Jeff Van Gundy is simply the best commentator of all time.

"Memphis Grizz are my MVP since they gave away Gasol"
Marc Jackson "The MVP makes his team better and the GRIZZ certainly did that"

    HAHAHAHAH

I mentioned in a couple of other threads that his development gives me hope for Novak.

man the lakers have gone to the basket about 6 times in this half, many with possible fouls, and haven't gotten a single call. and that was after like the most random carry call of all time on kobe.

and kobe is setting some sort of record for lazy D right now. he just keeps rotating to double and not even attempting to get back or he'll just out to try for a steal and then just stand there if he doesn't get it.

and kidd just tackles odom out of bounds and it's dallas ball.

Kobe complains wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. He flails all the time after every little bit of contact.

i'm not sure i've seen a team get away with so much in one quarter as the mavs are in this quarter in a long time. the lakers haven't gotten one single call going to the basket after about 9 drives, no loose ball fouls, got called for the block there instead of getting the charge, and the one foul they got should have been a flagrant and wasn't called one. they must've peed in the refs cereal at halftime or something.

and kobe going a bonzi-like 3-10 from the free throw line! wtf is up with him. maybe they don't want to get the calls to go to the line.

edit: omg, they didn't even call nowitzki chopping down on odom on that fastbreak. not one call. and then obviously the foul on turiaf on dampier's shot.
