well, first of all detroit can't beat the spurs in the playoffs unless it's the finals.

yes, the NBA champion is the best team in the league. therefore, if the cavs won it all then they were the best team that year. pretty simple

hmm wat are u talking about??People play with different styles and have matchup problems with different people.Lets say the Cavs went to the Finals and faced the mavs and beat them, but wat if the spurs went to that finals and they had problems with them. It's different.

So you are saying that the NBA championship team isn't the best team in the league? Put the pipe down

Think about the bulls from the early 90's. Were they better than the rockets? No. But they were the nba champions.

If you don't win in the playoffs, you are not the best team. That's the whole point of the playoffs. In order to be a champion, you have to win in the playoffs. If not, then I guess last year's Mavs team was the best in the NBA.

This sounds to me like Matt Leinart saying that even though UT won the national championship, USC was the better team.

    Juju-

The Bulls couldn't beat the Magic in 7 games, and therefore Orlando was a better team. They made it to the finals while beating Michael Jordan's Bulls. We swept the team that beat them.

I would have been a special thing to watch a Bulls/Rockets series. Hakeem was such a special player on defense in that he could clog the lane not with his size but with his quickness and athleticism. The Bulls could try to drive an open lane from that high post and before you know it, there's Olajuwon flashing through the lane to contest the shot or the pass. The Bulls never faced someone with Hakeem's size, quickness, and explosion on defense. Then on offense, Hakeem always played better in the playoffs than during the regular season and he would have been sky high to face Jordan. I could only imagine the thrashing he would have been giving the Bulls on the offensive end with the likes of Cartwright or Grant or Longley trying to guard him, wow. Then of course Mad Max guarding MJ, that would have been priceless to watch. Max was so athletic and talented and just completely crazy enough to think he could really guard MJ. I think MJ would have gotten his numbers but there's no question Max would have made him work very hard on offense, who knows if he could have gotten in his face enough times to really bother him. It would have been an amazing series.

sure some people in the order of the church of Clutch City disagree on the Saintness of Maxwell, but to throw heresy on the entire Rockets Kingdom for 2 decades is unforgivable.

What demons invade our church? what demons question the legacy and the fact our church and our patron saint Dream!

Saint Dream is forever. we let demonic bulls worshippers in our church?
    NEVER!

I guess Carmichael is scared to talk about his Jordan worship in the GARM and is stuck in the DISH.

I bet he believes that Jordan only played 6 seasons and won a title in every season. I bet he believes that Bulls no one could guard Jordan except for Dumars in Detroit.

I mean Paul Pierce couldn't guard Kobe one on one.. oh wait.. he did

I bet Carmichael saw all these games when the Bulls lost to the Rockets,
oh wait he's not a "REAL BULLS" fan cause a "REAL BULLS" fan would have watched those games.

The only bad thing about Dream being in Houston is that we had zero publicity.

Oh Carmichael, why did Bill Cartwright intentionally elbow Hakeem in the eye socket? was it because we were destroying them and they had to be thugs about it?

Yes, because I am arguing in favor of Jordan's bulls, I must be some closet Rocket hater and Jordan nuthugger.
Nice thread by the way. Were you wearing your tinfoil hat?

FACT: Jordan's Bulls won 6 titles.

FACT: In those 8 seasons, they never lost and NBA Finals when MJ played a full season.

FACT: In the two years that MJ didnt play a full season, Houston magically won two titles.

FACT: MJ NEVER, EVER lost in the Finals.

If Houston wouldve dominated the Bulls so badly, why didnt they make the Finals any of the 6 seasons MJ was in them? Was it because Dream was playing for the Durham Bulls? Let me guess, conspiracy?

Don't even TRY to come at a Kings fan with conspiracy theory. Since you're so great at playing with basketball reference, let me ask if Game 6 2002 means anything.......

    Bottom line:

MJ's Bulls: 6-6 in titles, never lost in the finals.

Dream's Rockets: 2-3 in titles, lost to Celtics in the finals. Couldnt even make it to the Finals ANY OF SIX TIMES to solve this argument against the Bulls.

You can cut up all the regular season games, and quotes about how the Rockets wouldve given the Bulls trouble.....but the only FACTS on the table are 6 vs 2. Period.

Its not MJ's fault that Dream couldnt make it there.....but I dont remember Dream taking 2 years off either.
