Brevin Knight was hopeless trying to defend Iverson.

    Oh well.

a crippled clippers squad pushed the nuggets to the limit on their court...
i feel good about the rockets chances of adding one to the winstreak counter :D

i am not really worried about denver. i'm just glad the young blazers gunned down the cocky lakers tonight.

my top most hated teams: utah (by far, and for over a decade now), lakers and the mavs.

good win, but i still dont consider us part of the upper echelon in the west. all the tops teams in the west have players who can create their own shot.

    lakers: kobe, odom, pau
mavs: dirk, terry, stackhouse, howard, kidd
    spurs: parker, manu, duncan
    hornets: paul, peja, west

rockets have: t-mac, scola, and....rafer?

hope t-mac's back is feeling ok because he'll need to carry the team throughout the rest of the season.

Actually, the rockets only 2 games behind the no.1 seed (spurs) now.

obviously so b/c we're missing one of our best players and one of the top 3 big men in the L. imagine having ai/melo getting injured, or paul, or kobe, or duncan/manu/parker...

when u take such a big piece, it's natural to assume so.

i don't feel that we're gonna win a championship or go far this yr b/c every other team is healthy and just as deep. any top team that gets injured will get pegged the same way as the rockets have.

but i just want this team to continue to play hard, compete, and let their play decide where they will end up. if they do that, i'll be proud of them and that's all u can do. be proud of your team.

We're much more likely to compete with Denver for a playoff spot than LA. Denver needs to lose these close games or we need to win our close games for us to make the playoffs. THis would have been a great opportunity if Denver lost.

You can't expect us to beat the heavyweights without Yao.

Sunday's game can really be the game that when we look back, we say that's why we did or did not make the playoffs.

The game against Denver equals 2 games.

Rockets took care of business again tonight like they should have. Tmac and Mutombo didn't have to play too many minutess, and our young players got plenty of minutes.

Is it just me, or are the Denver Nuggets the MOST overrated team in recent history. Today during the halftime show of the Jazz-Hornets game on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith believed that the Rockets would not make the playoffs because:

"Denver with A.I. and Carmello Anthony are too talented for them not to make the playoffs."

What has Allen Iverson proved with the Nuggets in the western conference and what has Carmello Anthony proved in his career. He's a one-dimensional player who scores more because of a run and gun offense.

Its sad that the NBA is all about razzle dazzle and flash, but nobody seems to care about the substance, such as defense, veteran leadership, superstars with an all around game instead of just scoring, and most importantly teams who give effort every night.

But if the NBA "Experts" believe that flashiness and pretty basketball moves get you anywhere, then I guess I'll never be a NBA "Expert" and the Spurs and Pistons, and Lakers never would have won any championships the last 8 years...

relax. people said the same thing about us last yr when yao went out. and people are going to say the same thing.

those guys don't watch the rockets much. yao may have been our most consistent player thus far, but neither tmac nor yao took a dominant part in our winning streak. we won as a TEAM.

plus, they love melo and AI man. SAS predicted they would come out of the west.

    i agree 100%.

but it's denver's fault per se for being overrated. they don't rate themselves. it's those idiots in the media.

beat denver and we distant ourselves with them for a full 4 games.

Might it have something to do with the fact that those are the teams that have put us out of the playoffs the past three times?? :D

THis game and 20-12 run from last proves that this team is more than two man show....if capable and healthy, Houston is capable of being a great team.

I watched lakers' game tonight, and feel they are not a mature team yet! I don't think they will win the west. They may pass the 1st round and that's it.
The spurs are still the team to beat!

I noticed that T-MAC seems quite unhappy when Mutombo got a rebound over his head, what's wrong with them?

part of it is that. but i've always hated the jazz since the 90's since malone is the dirtiest player in history. and regardless of different times, the utah team is always the most butt ugly team in the league, literally. :D

the lakers are just an arrogant and pretentious bunch. i used to be a fan of the showtime lakers under riley, but after that it's all downhill. and phil jackson is an overrated and lucky b*stard.

i shouldn't have said i "hate" the mavs. and this is relatively recent. but as long as they have dirk, the handsdown best and most effective flopper ever, i will never like that team. and they practiced flopping under nellie on a regular basis. i just hate flopping. that's why as fun as nellie ball is, i've never had the true respect for him. divac and manu are nothing compared to dirk and harris and co. that, and that howard little arrogant sob...

If you saw the slow motion and zoomed in replay, Tracy was only pretending to be unhappy that Dikembe grabbed the rebound away from him. After he slapped his hands at Dikembe, he was smiling the entire time at him.
