Yao is out so folks on here are looking to pick up a big.

Well I don't care who we sign they will not crack our rotation and if y'all think we need insurance for Deke think again because if he goes out we are done.

Hayes was out of the rotation now he is in.

    Deke
    Scola
    Battier
    T-Mac
    Alston
    Landry
    Jackson
    Head

is what we are rolling with, Playing hard nose D with a tight 8-9 man rotation in which everyone knows their roll is the key to success!

Let's pray we stay healthy and do this thing!

side note-I was all for signing Barry (can't blame him for not coming since Yao went down abd from the outside the Rockets season looks over) because it's an upgrade over a rotation player (Head)

If we cut Jones it should only be to sign a player that has more upside for the future because as of this second there aint nobody out there who can crack our rotation.

I see your point, but picking up Justin Williams would still make some sense to me. That would be as much a future move as a right now move. Dude is young, and he can board.

I think Justin Williams would be a good pickup even if he does not contribute this year. Sign him to a contract through next season, and he is essentially an expiring deal for next year. Obviously, Sacramento has a relationship with him. We could possibly turn him into part of a deal for Artest or even some other player, provided we decide we don't even want to keep him. We could go to training camp next year and let him compete with Hayes to determine which one we want to keep and then plan on moving the other one in a trade. He would give us a lot of options. And just possibly he continues to improve on what he has already done in the league, which is to say, provide some decent defense and pretty efficient offense.
