12 boards in 23 minutes in the last Kings game against us.

12 boards in limited minutes versus the Rockets is pretty noteworthy.

Yeh he is playing in the same system, but doesn't mean he knows how to be successful in it. From the King's forum, fans say he gets lost on defense a lot and also offense. So even if we do sign him, I doubt he'll even play.

He also had 5 steals in that game.

If we can get Barry, we have to do it. I doubt he will come after hearing this news, but stranger things have happened. However, I would still want to pick up Justin as well. Novak or Stevie would have to be cut.

He's not perfect, but I think he's about as close as you're going to get for a FA this late in the season.

That guy has all kinds of problems. I remember reading something about him showing up to games drunk.

He looked decent and any decent big guy with some offensive power will be better than nothing.

Clutch, call Morey and tell him to get this done. I like this idea. He does not look 225 lbs, more like 255 lbs to me. He looks quick and dunks with authority, gets rebounds and blocks  Sean Kemp-Lite

To those that said we won't get him b/c he lacks NBA experience? I say look at Scola, Landry and brooks........boy they have a lot of experience

He will get the experience NOW with Yao out. Imagine our bigs, Mutombo, Williams,Scola, and Landry and whatever that 10 day contract dude's name is(b.jones).

    GET 'ER DONE.

I actually had a dream last night of Carl Landry and Justin Williams just having a dunk fest against the Grizzlies (I know, it's lame).

Why not, I'd rather take a chance on this kid than all the other aging, scrub PFs/Centers available on the market right now.

Someone should bring this to the attention of Morey, although him and his management staff have probably already looked at this situation. Cmon Morey, if you're reading this thread, sign him up!

I'm sure that Morey is aware of Williams and his availability. I heard Mr. Fantasy basketball guy that hosts all the shows on NBA TV talking about him yesterday...how he'd be a great pickup for a team in need of a reserve inside presence. And how he'll fill up the stats sheet.

Morey knows...I think it just boils down to Les and his pocketbook.

Guess we could get him since we lost Barry and have some cap space.

What is it with you and tanking the final 25 games? Thank God you're not coach. Any team that isn't playing to win is disrespecting its players, fans, and city. If you want to give up, fine, take your 36,000 posts and do something productive.
