After hearing the news of Yao's injury , I am so depressed these days that I can't even concentrate on my work. Last night, I had a strange dream that Rockets become the champion of the west conference. And in my dream they are playing with Pistons, champion of the east and Landry is the shining star and just when we are beating them, my sweet dream stopped. Yao, when will you come back? Sigh!
Given our current situation, I would personally be content with us getting into the playoffs and playing competitive basketball against whatever team that we face. The playoff experience that the rookies acquire would be invaluable for next year.
Big things will happen for this Rockets team this year. At first I was disappointed, but now I am full of hope. I believe.
I'd be thrilled if we past the first round. The best Cinderella story that could possibly happen to us is that we make it all the way to the finals and Yao returns a-la Willis Reed style. That would be crazy. I know I'm fantasizing, but how awesome would that be?
Oh, you see, after so many years of following the Rockets, I have been so attched to Yao and Macgady, especially Yao, that honest, diligent, loyal, modest man and I have a feeling that if the Rockets failed in the first round again, Les would send Macgrady away for a healthier player, even less talented. After all, Rockets can't have two stars both injury prone. And I hope I'm just a little sensitive. At last, to say something happier that before the final game of 1998 FIFA World Cup, I dreamed that the French should beat the Brazilians! I say so just to comfort myself a little. How I have wished the rockets to win the champion led by Yao and Macgrady!
I'll top that and say that we get the #1 seed and win the whole damn thing. Yao will play in some series that we need him. Book it!!!!! NBA Finals: Rockets over Pistons 4-2. bratna8, thank you so much!
Many of us, including me, are dreaming that after a sleep we found out that the freakin doctor just made a mistake on the MRI results on yao and it came out yao is just fine!!! What a dream!!!
Nice dream... Now let's make a dream come true for some sick children.... http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/US/Corp/CommunityPrograms/show-the-love.cvsp Click on Houston on the map to help kids get a break while in the hospital Vote! Vote! Vote! One day left! EERILY... Detroit and Houston are slugging it out in this contest, too!!
The rest of the dream is this.............................. ....................we're down 1 with 5 seconds left, Tracy splits the D and drives to the lane, Rasheed comes over to help, Tracy throws it up and Landry tears the rim down dunking it........3 seconds left........Detroit calls timeout, sets up the play.........Billups on the sideline, inbounds to Rasheed, back to Billups driving to the bucket, for the layup.........Deke blocks it and the horn goes off. Deke holds up the wagging finger, team collapses on him, circa Kareem and the 80's Lakers champions. Clutch City baby. Just believe. Yao who?
my dream is to attend the live game show but have no enough money so many fans in china like me have to appreciate the hustle from scola and landy ,even deke in front of tv
I'll top that and say that we get the #1 seed and win the whole damn thing. Yao will play in some series that we need him. Book it!!!!! NBA Finals: Rockets over Pistons 4-2. -------------------- At the moment we should give the best support to other guys of ROX, no matter what will happen to ROX finally. I also believe that they will do their best in coming games. Let's cheer for them!!!
