One of my favorite NBA rivalries.

Its early for predictions, but I think whoever wins tonight will come out of the West.

    Spurs 91
    Mavs 80

Can't stand either, but I would prefer the Mavs to win.

It will give them a false sense of hope.

I kind of don't like San Antonio, but I hate the Mavs.

    Go Spurs!!

Dallas is the worst period. They talk to much crap for their own good.

    Boxscore prediction? Who cares.

I predict Dirk sprains his ankle, Kidd tears his ACL, Ginobili hyperextends his arm and is out for the season, and ducan trips over bowen while doing a dirty play and hurts himself as well.

*sigh* karma's BOUND to happen to those teams after we lost yao right?

Really? I'd think it would be between the Spurs and Lakers at this point...

I hope Dirk and Timmy collide.

As much as I don't want to, I am pulling for the Mavs in this one so we can stay that much closer to the top spot in our division.

Unlike the national media Im not really that sold on the Lakers yet.

The Mavs and Spurs are really under the radar right now.

Spurs, Mavs and Lakers are the only teams to come out of the west this decade.

I think the Spurs matchup the best to all the other teams.

Exactly. The best result for us is the rest of western playoff contenders even out one another so that nobody is pulling away. So far it's been happening that way. I'll keep my fingers crossed...

    Spurs likely win this one.

Either way, we pick up a half game on the loser.

And if the Mavs lose, we'll be WITHIN a half game of them...

I don't think we can eclipse the Spurs, so...

    Die Mavs Die.

Not gonna happen. The two would just fall over without any contact.

Am I the only one here that is tired of watching the Spurs/Mavs/Suns play each other during the regular season? This game is a big yawn to me. I hate that there is always only one other game on Thursdays when TNT shows a double-header except on the rare occasions when both of their games are good.

San Antonio anyday times 10 over the Mavericks. Their owner stinks, their fans are delusional, Terry is a moron with his stupid hand gestures, Stackhouse is an idiot ("I'll just take a vacation for 30 days.."), as is Dampier ("I'm the 2nd best center in the West"), and Howard is a punk (although a good player). I feel bad for Dirk and Kidd, two classy players for the most part who don't belong with those yahoos.
