Am I alone in thinking Hollinger and Daryl Morey should date?

Luther has always been a pretty good perimeter defender, he was in Illinois also, I'm not sure, but I believe Van Gundy pointed that out when he was drafted. His problem defensively has always been that he's just too small to guard bigger 2 guards and he gets manhandled down low or they just rise up and shoot over him. He does a good job of stay with and attempting to challenge his man, but oftentimes his challenge is too big for him to overcome.

the more media exposure of landry, the more I worried about the chance of us signing him the next contract. we locked those useless second rounders like JL3, Novak, VSpan ..., but not Landry!

IF Landry is named ROY (0.0001% chance), will he get max contract? But if he's top 3 in the ROY race, he will demand a lot money.

Hollinger has been on our side for awhile now. The only guy in the media keeping me sane these days.

That was different. He and the Cavs made a handshake deal and he screwed them.

I don't see Landry doing the same to the Rockets. They'll either match whatever offer he receives or let him sign with another team. And I don't see them being dumb enough to let the guy walk.

    Yes. Great first post.

BTW, don't talk about Boozer...it makes me too nervous/depressed. :(

If someone offered you 80 million dollars to play for them would you stay? On the other hand, when do those Rookie rules go out the window? Sophmores are locked in under some player salary cap right?

No one's gonna offer Landry 80 million. Hell, 40 million is a long shot.

Whereas Carlos Boozer seems like a scum bag who would do that kind of thing, Landry seems like the kind of player who would take less money to stay with the Rockets. He knows the Rockets will pay to keep him, so look for him to get a nice paycheck.

Because Rocket didn't feel like giving him a regular two or three year contract before the season started, too late to worry about that now.

Did the Carl Landry article remind anyone else of the GhostBusters theme? I think it was the way Holliger keep asking the questions and then saying Carl Landry!

Someone should call does dudes that made the Yao Ming song to write a song for Carl Landry to the tune of Ghostbusters! :D

I'm going to make a poster that says "ScoLandry for Co- ROY!" :D . . I might do it for tomorrows game! . . I think it's not just going to depend on how well TMac plays out the remainder of this season and the post season, it's going to be ScoLandry who will decide that . . If ScoLandry play like they are, get ready for a championship Rockets fans, we're in for one hell of a dominant season ending and playoff beginnings!
