How is Matt Bullard getting more votes than Glen Rice? It says "Try to imagine each player at the peak of his NBA career when making your voting decisions," yet Bullard is leading 56% - 44% (725 votes). Rice has been an All-Star MVP, and I don't remember Bullard ever being an all-star. Go and vote for Rice!Road to Rocketsville
aggie...bullard is the man...as far as at their peaks...rice has done nothing as a rocket. i know it says for their career but screw that...rocket fans arnt blind.
So far the best thing about the Road to Rocketville is that Pippen is already voted out! Congrats fans on eliminating the worst player in Rocket history in the first round! Good job!
So who do ya'll think will win it all? I'd give Dream the nod, but when the matchups are between him and the likes of Moses Malone and Elvin Hayes...I don't know: It ought to be close, but Dream is the champ.
They actually did pretty good with the matchups. The "Southeast" is brutal. However, it's considerably easier to pick than the real tournament until the last round or two. Looking over what's left (voting's been done for the first round East and Southeast): "East:" Olajuwon over Smith, Willis over Short. Lucas over Joe Barely Cares, Barkley over MoTaylor then Olajuwon over Barkley "Midwest:" Malone over Petersen, Eddie Johnson over Lloyd, Cassell over Walker, Reid over the Wizard, Cuttino over Wiggins, Oscar Torres upsets Rick Barry, Maxwell over Leavell, "Big E" over Tree Rollins then Malone over Johnson, Cassell over Reid, Cuttino over Oscar Torres, Elvin Hayes over Maxwell. then Malone over Cassell, Elvin Hayes over Mobley then Malone over Elvin Hayes "West:" Murphy over Slick, Sleepy over Avery, Thorpe over Block, Bullard upsets Glen Rice, Kenny Smith over Hollins, Sampson over Caldwell Jones, Horry over KT, Drexler over Ehlo then Murphy over Sleepy, Thorpe over Bullard, Sampson over Smith, Drexler over Horry then Murphy over Thorpe, Drexler over Sampson then Drexler over Murphy "Southeast:" Tomjanovich over Maxwell, Griffin upsets Newlin, World B. Free over Ford, Franchise over Mario Elie then Tomjanovich over Griffin, Franchise over WBF. then Franchise over Rudy T. (VERY close) That leaves: Olajuwon v. Malone, and Drexler v. Franchise Franchise defeats Drexler easily. Does Olajuwon's "indiscretions" of the last year hurt him in fan voting against the "almost-as-popular" Malone? I'm not certain.
Still, at their peaks, would you take a healthy Glen Rice (look back at his days with the Hornets), or a Matt Bullard?

Have to agree with red on that. Rice has done nothing for the Rockets Org. The same goes for Pippen when he was here....
I'm not questioning the contributions to the organization. What I'm asking is if you would've taken Bullard or Rice in their peak years? The obvious choice here should be Rice. Their career stats speak for themselves.

I'm actually a big Rice fan myself. Only wish we could have traded for him a few years back when he was healthy.
Is it just me or is Shandon Anderson not listed? Not that he's an all-time Rocket great, but if Sedale Threatt is there, Anderson should've been as well. What are some other decent-good present or past Rockets you all wanted to see on there?
