    Wow...

I never thought that the game would have been so one sided. A&M looked like a completely different team tonight.

    A&M 98
    Tech 54

I just can't get that excited as my fellow Ags after this win. When a team plays this off and on I blame the coach. Sloan has massive limitations but I would put it in Kirk's hands and slow the game tempo to a snails pace. Utilize that size, completely abandon the run. Anyways... Ill tell you what I am excited about. Kentucky vs Vandy!

Tonight was not off and on. I have not seen A&M play that complete of a game this entire season. They were able to control the inside game and use that to get good looks from the outside. The defense was tremendous.

This team had something that has been lacking all year...energy. They played with a lot of energy and a sense of urgency.

It looks like the player's only meeting and Turge's edict that all players will have to earn their playing time has had an impact.

By off and on I meant game by game, not in game. Which is evident by blowout wins against teams like Tech and Texas and blowout losses to teams like Tech and Texas coupled with cringe worthy home losses. I don't know if we will get these Aggies next game or the ones that make the oppositions ball pressure look like Van Gundy and Larry Brown are coaching them.

Come on ... You are just looking for things to bash Turge on ... The guy implements a new system onto a new team that lost an ALL-AMERICAN point guard, and a post player that was a major contributor.

If you didn't expect ups and downs this season, then your expectations are way out of whack. A&M is a young team with a new coach still finding an identity.

I know you love Billy, but get a grip.

The rest of the TAMU fans can wait patiently giving him 3 years. Fair enough. It is the rational thing to do. But I don't like Turgeon! LOL. No question about it. Never did, probably never will. The team had an identity. Defense and intensity. I don't like coaches coming in inserting motion offenses like its the holy grail. If we lost every game but played with that defensive grit and physicality I would be fine. But its gone and I can't get over it.

I agree losing Law took us out of sweet 16 contention instantaneously, but Davis+Jordan > Kavilauskas. I don't feel my expectations are high. Simple actually. Don't lose to OSU, Baylor and Nebraska at HOME. We have the talent to be doing much better than this. Don't want to waste time acclimating to a new system when we have two NBA caliber big men headed to the pros next year.
