I met my investigator one January and didn't get cleared until the end of October. 2 months is a joke. Then again I may have a different clearance and I am not even remotely in the same field nor do I work for a contractor. FWIW, I went the meditational/relaxation route. I'm more comfortable in that state. GL
If they are that big and serious, they probably already know you are posting about trying to ace the polygraph quiz on this forum. I do some security work and you have no idea how many people I've incriminated through web forums who thought they were hiding behind an "anonymous" screen name.
From your moniker, I'm guessing Northrop? They were a good company when I was with them. Anyhow, gl with the test.
I met my investigator one September and didn't get cleared for 3 years and 2 months. And I had absolutely nothing of note in my background.
I didn't start this thread to find a way to ace the exam or to cheat my way through it. I have nothing to hide and I will just be truthful. I just wanted to know how many people here have gone through a polygraph and if they can give me any advise when it comes to relaxing. I am not worried about if they are investigating my internet activities.
^^^ Hahahaha! That's a Jelafied joke. But to add on to my previous post, I'm just afraid that the test results might turn back wrong only because I was nervous not because I was untruthful. I guess we'll see tomorrow (24 hours from now).
A quick update: I was contacted by the company and was told that the customer wanted to "meet" with me. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get an answer for what this meeting was about. I thought that the polygraph was the last "step" of the clearance investigation. So, I'm wondering if this means that there has been an issue and a set back. Or is this meeting just part of the process? I'm asking those of you here who have gone through the clearance process. Thanks in advance...
You have been chosen as a prime candidate to be a spy in Tehran. You will no longer exist as far as the world outside Langley is concerned.
Have you ever done Google searches containing the following words: AL Quada, Iraq, Muslim, or terrorist? When they asked where you were born, did you give a foreign country as your answer, or stutter when you gave an American city?
