If it were up to me, tonight's starting 5 would go for the rest of the season...

I've been advocating going with these guys for some time now, but as the season progresses, going with KT, or giving minutes to Williams, etc. at the expense of Griffin and/or Morris has seemed less and less supportable. Forget injuries, this is my starting 5 for the rest of the year...KT's not an older fellow, but it seems fairly certain to me that he's never going to be a championship-level starter...too one-dimensional. However, he's perfect as an instant offense guy at eithrt 3 or 4...Another aspect of playing Morris is that it provides ball handling relief for Francis, something already noticable tonight. Mobley has the ability to bring the ball up too, but not the mentality...He tends to take the shot or the high-risk flash pass...Morris is much more of a flow guy, and will, I think, develop into a perfect point forward, something that will help alleviate some of the pressure on Francis, as a point guard, that others have alluded to elsewhere. In addition, he plays defense, which neither of our other 3's ( Thomas, Williams, Rice) have ever done...WHEN Cato plays D, we now have a potential shut-down starting froncourt...

JAG, I like that post, as TMo posted TRock's past recent stats, I see that he plays much better with more PT than sporadic PT, or like you say a "flow player"! Now is the time to develop the Rocket depth taking into account the Rocket record. FREDTERP

I think against the Nets we should go with a small lineup.
    Pgoint- Moochie
    Sg- Wink
    Sf- Cat
    Pf- Kenny
    C- Griffin
