    He might need to lose some of that bulk so his feet can take the weight.

    I thought of that as well.....maybe he is putting too much stress on his legs.

    However, I think maybe Yao just does too much training.....instead of running on the track at Rice, maybe he should be running in a pool?

    Anything to stop the excess pounding on his lower legs and feet.

    *drop 10 Lbs

    * Use modern training methods

    * limit to 34 minutes per game

    * limit practice, we are talkin' about practice!

    * Rest against lower seeded teams

    * NO MORE GAMES IN CHINA, but the annual charity game

    * New shoes

    Ming is more than an ambassador for his country.. he is an ambassador of the human spirit. I hope our comrades in China can understand this, and will finally let him go.

    Item 2 is the most important one. Shoot, Shaq is injured all the time too. It has to be the size of these guys.

    - Yao shouldnt lose body weight, otherwise the banging in low post will make Yao fatigue easily.
    - Would this injury happen in last couple of years if Yao was not hit by other injuries?
    - Yao said he was tired and lost weight because of the longer minutes he has played this season. Yao has played 3 more minutes per games this season. Fatigue from games which caused his body to slow recovery might trigger this injury.
    - When Yao returns, I think the Rockets really need to bring in a backup center to spare Yao. So, Yao will only play 32-34 mins per game and let's hope he can stay healthy for the playoffs.

    Weren't we talking about having Yao gain weight for years? If Yao loses weight he's going to have a harder time establishing his low post presence.

    KG is not really heavy, but he is strong and has no problems getting rebounds. He need to gain strength not weight. Bruce lee was a small guy, but he was strong. Even if he has to give us some strength so be it. I rather have him on the court.

    Difference is Shaq fakes injuries because he only wants to play half the season after he turned around 30~

    Yeah, Yao needs to lose about a billion pounds, the commitment to his homeland. But then he wouldn't be Yao and that would be a bigger loss than the games.

    The weight is a good thing.

    I think China needs to treat him like a human rather than a work mule.

    He needs to adopt some Abdul-Jabar training methods. Yoga, swimming, core training. Anything to keep him off his feet.
