Well, I guess this should be locked up again. I know alot of you don't agree with my "idea", so I apologize for creating the thread.

I was just going off what hoopshype.com quoted from Marty Burns of SI:

"Walker's agent, Mark Bartelstein, would not comment on the negotiations except to say that they were ongoing. Timberwolves GM Jim Stack did not return a phone call. If Minnesota did buy out Walker, and he cleared waivers, he would be free to sign with any team (he must be waived by March 1 to be eligible to play for another team in the postseason). The Celtics, Rockets, Warriors and Nuggets are among the clubs that might be interested in his services."

    Anyway, sorry for the speculation.

Antoine Walker's a layman's Bonzi Wells back when some of his threes used to fall throw the hoop. Now he's just a fat, lazy, punk.

I just don't see Antoine Walker agreeing to a buyout this year. He is simply owed too much money; and the Timberwolves are not going to pay all that money just to release a player from his contract.

He'll probably agree to a lesser buyout next year.

walker sucks on so many levels. dude is uncoordinated and clumsy. he can probably be considered a damned good defensive player cause he kills his own teams offense.

10 years ago? Definitely. 3 years ago? Maybe. Now? Noooooo. A thousand times no.

I can't stand Antoine Walker's game, but hell, at this point why not? If he'll sign for the minimum for this year only. Then if he sucks (which he probably will), we can just bench him and it won't matter. Better him than Bobby Jones or whatever his name is

Walker will only be good if he can bring some voodoo Chinese medicine with him.

Antoine Walker would do well with Adelman. I support this idea, for the right price.

I dont like Walker. He throws up garbage. It looks like every shot is a prayer. When he does make a basket he always does a goofy walk down the court like he's a superstar or something.

If we consider signing this guy......it'll be worse than losing Yao.

While we're at it, lets sign Bobby Hurley. He has championship experience

The Rockets need post help, not perimeter mayhem.
