He saw it would be the last year with yao the the Rockets for him.
Its sad...At the age of 45, he still wants a ring, doesn't he?

Um, we can't! Utah is a division lead and is therefore guaranteed at least 4th.

A very good win. I think everyone has mixed emotions about the Rockets right now.... We had a good win but there are a lot of question marks without Yao for the rest of the season.

I'll complain about one thing during the win ... why does TMac take such STUPID shots when we're leading? That is the BEST way to help the other team catch up. Duh!

Boy, anyone see that poll on ESPN that has 85% of the nation predicting we will NOT make the playoffs. Damn.

Bandwagon officially shuts right now. Let's see what we're made of.

Bill Worell: that was a conservative dunk, he needs to warm up.

haha . . about greens first dunk as a rocket!

Now we're going to be a freestyle basketball team, since no more always going down to Yao . . I expect a high adrenaline remainder 25 games, and we winning all of them . . Making us finish the season with a 38 game winning streak . . Making us make an NBA record . . all without Yao!

WHO ELSE BELIEVES WITH ME?! :D

Haha, where do you get your crack?

But seriously, I think we'll do fine with at least a playoff birth.

    Oh yeah, that's right.

Oh well, at least we have the 6th best record in the conference and we're still just 3 games out of 1st place ...

Only 2 and 1/2 out of first, and the lakers are losing at half-time.

Even the votes from Texas only have 25% saying the Rockets are a playoff team without Yao. I guess there are a lot of Mavs and Spurs fans voting.

don't know if anyone else has brought this up yet. i just remembered how so many people last year said that the rockets slowed down the game so much with their half court offense that it lulled the opposing team into playing a slow low scoring game.
this year it should be evident that it was always the defense doing the job and not the boring slow pace of last year.
but i gotta say, this is a hell of a lot more entertaining.

WHEN THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO SIGN LANDRY A CONTRACT!?!? WE NEED TO SIGN HIM FOR LIKE 7 YEARS BEFORE SOMEBODY TAKES HIM IN THE OFF SEASON!?! WE NEED TO GIVE HIM AS MUCH AS HE WANTS AND WE KNOW HE'S NOT GOING TO ASK FOR TOO MUCH!!! SIGN HIM A CONTRACT BEFORE WE LOSE OUR SECOND MOST DOMINANT PLAYER ON THE TEAM NOW THAT YAO IS GONE!
