The Rockets blew out New Orleans on the back end of their back-to-back, so that's a weak excuse. And the victory is not a whole because Yao didn't play a is stupid. A win is a win.
Don't even bother. The guy said earlier that he sees no reason to even watch the rest of the season with Yao out.
Come on, give our defense some credit! If this was one game, then yeah you could say that, but we did the same thing to NO Hornets. Our defense is FOR REAL! That is the ray of hope that I have that we can get past the first round this year! We have a legit defense and the good thing is, how do you score with Landry, Scola, and Battier on the floor at the same time? That line-up brings hard-nosed defense every position. Add Mutumbo's shot-blocking and Rafer's ball pressure! But T-Mac looked a little lazy on defense tonight towards the end of the second quarter, but I think that was because he realized that we were going to cruise to this victory!
Yet they beat the Hornets, although on a skid, one of the better Western teams. Who gives a ****, we're missing Yao!
He's been lazy on defense all year. I'm hoping he steps up on that end of the floor with Yao no longer there to clean up his mistakes.
TMac looked bad in the warmups, like he had no energy. He had one of his worst offensive games. I think he was depressed about Yao. I think he was just starting to believe that this team could succeed in the playoffs, and now this. Maybe the performance of the other players will encourage him.
And I am worrying about Tmac's attitude. He only scored 11. That's fine. But he is playing smart. He didn't pass and stuck to jump shot. Now we are counting on him. But he is not showing a right leadership.
I'm giving T-Mac the benefit of the doubt right now, he might have just had a bad game. But if he moping around and depressed because of Yao's injury and doubt this team can succeed then we seriously would have to look at trading him. We need a superstar with toughness. Kobe would take his game to another level if something like that happened. Heck, he DID take his game to another level when Bynum went down. This team is capable of making a deep run in the playoffs. So hopefully T-Mac just had a bad game, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.
