I read somewhere that Landry came into the NBA with a 36 vertical. He has since improved it 6" more. That means he has a 42 inch vertical leap. How many 6'9" guys do we know of that have a 42" vertical leap? That's pt. guard leaping. It's not how tall you are, it's how big you play. That's why Landry has a 22.4 PER.

Phoenix -Shaq, can't catch up to us,too old.
    Spurs -Duncan? Plays PF
    Lakers -Gasol, only challenge
    N.O. -Chandler? Doesn't play O well
    G.State -No one
    Dallas- No one
Utah j*zz- Okur shoots threes...not an insider
    Denver- Camby plays defense...

All I see is Lakers giving us a problem with the Center position

The proof is in the rest of the season. If we continue this level of play like tonight, we are still a very dangerous team. If Scola can play like his MVP Americas level, Landry continues to play like a freak, and T-Mac scores like he can and Deke can rebound and block I think we can still go far.

The Rockets are good enough to withstand injury to either Yao or T-Mac against bad teams. That was the case in January, and I expect it will be the case the rest of the way. The more important thing, if we still care about advancing in the postseason, is how we play against the good teams. That's always been the big question mark, even throughout this winning streak, and it remains so.

I think we are ok. Still remembering that putback dunk Landry put in Duncan's face.

I post it in the other thread.

Rox has proven they can do just fine without Yao. They are still a playoff team because of T-Mac and gangs. T-Mac is more important because he can create shots.

Yao will make a difference if he plays exceptionally well in the playoffs. Otherwise Rox won't be a serious Championship contender anyway, with or without him.

Are you guys r****ded? Without a center we'll just be looking at Tmac and Rafer shooting threes all day. And you have seen how effective that was last season. :/

Like I said in the another post, it's not sound that crazy to trade Yao, he's supposedly untouchable, which means Rockets get some goodies in return. Money issue aside, it's good for the team.

While we're at it, maybe we don't need lungs. Lungs are way overrated imo.

No you don't trade Yao. He is the anchor for the team. But still, the team is so darn deep. We are now a lot like the Lakers without Gasol. Actually I think with our bench that we are a lot deeper than the Lakers.
